Abstract
Despite calls for better co-operation between countries and different cultures, there is still confrontation between people, groups and nations. But at the same time they are exposed to common problems which demand cooperation for the solution of these problems. This book helps to understand the differences in the way strategists and their followers think, offering practical solutions for those in business to help solve conflict between different groups.

The impact of participative leadership behavior on psychological empowerment and organizational commitment in Chinese state-owned enterprises: the moderating role of organizational tenure

TL;DR: Wang et al. as discussed by the authors investigated whether participative leadership behavior can produce psychological empowerment, which in turn leads to organizational commitment for employees of Chinese state-owned enterprises, and found that participative behavior was associated with organizational commitment, but not with all four dimensions of psychological empowerment.

Cultural differences in, and influences on, consumers' propensity to adopt innovations

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigate the relationship between national culture and adoption of new products, ideas, or behaviour to suggest a framework for distinguishing between innovative and imitative behaviour, and find that certain dimensions of culture are a key factor in determining whether or not consumers will display a propensity to innovate.
