The Minimal Composite Higgs Model

TLDR
In this article, the authors proposed a composite Higgs in the framework of a five-dimensional AdS theory, where electroweak symmetry is broken dynamically via top loop effects, all flavour problems are solved, and contributions to electroweak precision observables are below experimental bounds.

The Strongly-Interacting Light Higgs

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors developed a simple description of models where electroweak symmetry breaking is triggered by a light composite Higgs, which emerges from a strongly-interacting sector as a pseudo-Goldstone boson.

Chiral symmetry breaking from five-dimensional spaces

TL;DR: In this article, the breaking of the chiral symmetry in QCD using a simple five-dimensional model was studied based on the AdS/CFT correspondence and the model gave definite predictions for the spectrum of vector mesons, their decay constants and interactions as a function of one parameter related to the quark condensate.
Journal ArticleDOI

A custodial symmetry for Zbb

TL;DR: In this article, a subgroup of the custodial symmetry O(3) that protects ρ from radiative corrections can also protect the ZbRR coupling, which allows one to build models of electroweak symmetry breaking, such as Higgsless, Little Higgs or 5D composite Higgs models, that are safe from corrections to Z → bb.
Journal ArticleDOI

Little Higgs Review

TL;DR: Little Higgs theories as discussed by the authors are weakly coupled extensions of the Standard Model with little or no fine-tuning, describing physics up to an energy scale of 10 TeV.

The Large N limit of superconformal field theories and supergravity

TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that the large-N limits of certain conformal field theories in various dimensions include in their Hilbert space a sector describing supergravityon the product of anti-de Sitter spacetimes, spheres, and other compact manifolds.
Journal ArticleDOI

Anti De Sitter Space And Holography

TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that the Kaluza-Klein modes of Type IIB supergravity on $AdS_5\times {\bf S}^5$ match with the chiral operators of the super Yang-Mills theory in four dimensions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Gauge Theory Correlators from Non-Critical String Theory

TL;DR: In this paper, a boundary of the anti-deSitter space analogous to a cut-off on the Liouville coordinate of the two-dimensional string theory is introduced to obtain certain Green's functions in 3+1-dimensional N = 4 supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory with a large number of colors via non-critical string theory.
Journal ArticleDOI

Large Mass Hierarchy from a Small Extra Dimension

TL;DR: In this paper, the weak scale is generated from the Planck scale through an exponential hierarchy, but this exponential arises not from gauge interactions but from the background metric, which is a slice of spacetime.

Anti de sitter space and holography

TL;DR: In this article, a correspondence between conformal field theory observables and those of supergravity was proposed, where correlation functions in conformal fields are given by the dependence of the supergravity action on the asymptotic behavior at infinity.
