Measurement of the weak mixing angle with the Drell-Yan process in proton-proton collisions at the LHC

S. Chatrchyan, +2283 more
- 08 Dec 2011 -
TL;DR: A multivariate likelihood method to measure electroweak couplings with the Drell-Yan process at the LHC is presented in this article, where the decay angle ambiguity due to the unknown assignment of the scattered constituent quark and antiquark to the two protons in a collision is resolved statistically using correlations between the observables.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for anomalous electroweak production of vector boson pairs in association with two jets in proton-proton collisions at 13 TeV

Albert M. Sirunyan, +2323 more
- 10 Nov 2019 -
TL;DR: In this article, a search for anomalous electroweak production of WW, WZ, and ZZ boson pairs in association with two jets in proton-proton collisions at s=13TeV at the LHC is reported.
Journal ArticleDOI

Measurement of the ratio B(t→Wb)/B(t→Wq) in pp collisions at s=8 TeV

Vardan Khachatryan, +2122 more
- 07 Sep 2014 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors measured the top-quark branching fractions in the $t\bar{t}$ dilepton final state with proton-proton collision data at 8 TeV from an integrated luminosity of 19.7 inverse-femtobarns.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for physics beyond the standard model in events with τ leptons, jets, and large transverse momentum imbalance in pp collisions at s√ = 7 TeV

S. Chatrchyan, +3928 more
TL;DR: In this article, a search for physics beyond the standard model was performed with events having one or more hadronically decaying τ leptons, highly energetic jets, and large transverse momentum imbalance.
