Constraints on the origin of cosmic rays above 10(18) eV from large-scale anisotropy searches in data of the Pierre Auger Observatory

P. Abreu, +515 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a thorough search for large-scale anisotropies in the distribution of arrival directions of cosmic rays detected above 10(18) eV at the Pierre Auger Observatory is reported.
Journal ArticleDOI

Event activity dependence of Υ(nS) production in √sNN = 5.02 TeV pPb and √s = 2.76 TeV pp collisions

S. Chatrchyan, +2264 more
TL;DR: In this article, the production of Y(1S), Y(2S), and Y(3S) is investigated in pPb and pp collisions at centre-of-mass energies per nucleon pair of 5.02 TeV and 2.76 TeV, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for the Standard Model Higgs Boson in the Decay Channel H→ZZ→4l in pp Collisions at √s=7 TeV

S. Chatrchyan, +2321 more
TL;DR: In this article, a search for a Higgs boson in the four-lepton decay channel H→ZZ, with each Z boson decaying to an electron or muon pair, is reported.
Journal ArticleDOI

Study of exclusive two-photon production of W+W- in pp collisions at √s=7 TeV and constraints on anomalous quartic gauge couplings

S. Chatrchyan, +2271 more
TL;DR: In this article, a search for exclusive or quasi-exclusive W(+)W(-) production by photon-photon interactions, pp to p(*)W(+W(+)p(*), at sqrt(s) = 7 TeV is reported using data collected by the CMS detector with an integrated luminosity of 5.5 TeV.
Journal ArticleDOI

Searches for a heavy scalar boson H decaying to a pair of 125 GeV Higgs bosons hh or for a heavy pseudoscalar boson A decaying to Zh, in the final states with h→ττ

Vardan Khachatryan, +2314 more
- 10 Apr 2016 -
TL;DR: In this article, a search for a heavy scalar boson H decaying into a pair of lighter standard-model-like 125 GeV Higgs bosons h and an h boson decaying into an H boson was performed on a dataset corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 19.7 inverse femtobarns of pp collision data at a centre-of-mass energy of 8 TeV.
