The nonstatistical fluctuations and low pt phenomena caused by Bose-Einstein correlations

TL;DR: In this article, the influence of known quantum mechanical effects as well as of detector effects on the intermittency patterns observed in nucleus-nucleus collisions has been studied for the Fritiof Monte Carlo program, where Bose-Einstein correlations were introduced as a final state interaction between two particles.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for top quark partners with charge 5/3 in the same-sign dilepton and single-lepton final states in proton-proton collisions at √s=13 TeV

Albert M. Sirunyan, +2392 more
TL;DR: In this article, a search for the pair production of heavy fermionic partners of the top quark with charge 5/3 (X5/3) is performed in proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV with the CMS detector at the CERN LHC.
Journal ArticleDOI

Phase-space dependence of particle-ratio fluctuations in Pb + Pb collisions from 20 A to 158 A GeV beam energy phase-space dependence of particle-ratio ... T. Anticic et al.

T. Antičić, +68 more
- 06 May 2014 -
TL;DR: In this article, the identity method was used for particle identification and the study of fluctuations of particle yield ratios in Pb + Pb collisions at the CERN Super Proton Synchrotron (SPS).
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for a light pseudoscalar Higgs boson produced in association with bottom quarks in pp collisions at sqrt(s)=8 TeV

Albert M. Sirunyan, +2314 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a search for a light pseudoscalar Higgs boson (A) produced in association with bottom quarks and decaying into a muon pair is reported, using 19.7 inverse femtobarns of proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 8 TeV.
Journal ArticleDOI

Searches for R-parity-violating supersymmetry in pp collisions at √s=8 TeV in final states with 0–4 leptons

Vardan Khachatryan, +2294 more
- 29 Dec 2016 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the results of searches for R-parity-violating supersymmetry in events produced in pp collisions at √s = 8 TeV at the LHC are presented, and 95% confidence level limits are set on supersymmetric particle masses and production cross sections.
