Journal ArticleDOI

Anti-inflammatory effects of Scutellaria baicalensis water extract on LPS-activated RAW 264.7 macrophages.

TL;DR: Results suggest that SR has anti-inflammatory activity related with its inhibition of NO, cytokine, chemokine, and growth factor production in macrophages.
Journal ArticleDOI

Kaempferol induces autophagic cell death via IRE1-JNK-CHOP pathway and inhibition of G9a in gastric cancer cells

TL;DR: The findings indicate that kaempferol activates the IRE1-JNK-CHOP signaling from cytosol to nucleus, and G9a inhibition activates autophagic cell death in GC cells, which indicates that kaEMPferol mediates epigenetic change via the inhibition of G9A (HDAC/G9a axis) and also activates autophile cell death.
Journal ArticleDOI

World Congress Integrative Medicine & Health 2017: Part one

Carolyn Ee, +776 more
TL;DR: This work is presented at the I1 World Congress for Integrative Medicine & Health 2017 a global forum for exploring the future of comprehensive patient care in Washington, DC.
Journal ArticleDOI

Induction of apoptotic cell death by ursolic acid through mitochondrial death pathway and extrinsic death receptor pathway in MDA-MB-231 cells.

TL;DR: The data indicate that ursolic acid could be used as a potential anticancer drug for breast cancer and induce apoptosis through both mitochondrial death pathway and extrinsic death receptor dependent pathway in MDA-MB-231 cells.
