TL;DR: It is shown that nonadiabatic geometric gates can be constructed in an extensible way, called NHQC+, for maintaining both flexibility and robustness against certain types of noises.
Abstract: Nonadiabatic holonomic quantum computation (NHQC) has been developed to shorten the construction times of geometric quantum gates. However, previous NHQC gates require the driving Hamiltonian to satisfy a set of rather restrictive conditions, reducing the robustness of the resulting geometric gates against control errors. Here we show that nonadiabatic geometric gates can be constructed in an extensible way, called NHQC+, for maintaining both flexibility and robustness against certain types of noises. Consequently, this approach makes it possible to incorporate most of the existing optimal control methods, such as dynamical decoupling, composite pulses, and a shortcut to adiabaticity, into the construction of single-looped geometric gates. Furthermore, this extensible approach of geometric quantum computation can be applied to various physical platforms such as superconducting qubits and nitrogen-vacancy centers. Specifically, we performed numerical simulation to show how the noise robustness in recent experimental implementations [Phys. Rev. Lett. 119, 140503 (2017)PRLTAO0031-900710.1103/PhysRevLett.119.140503; Nat. Photonics 11, 309 (2017)NPAHBY1749-488510.1038/nphoton.2017.40] can be significantly improved by our NHQC+.approach. These results cover a large class of new techniques combing the noise robustness of both geometric phase and optimal control theory.

TL;DR: It is shown that the Kaiser window based interpolator and DD interpolation are simple, robust, and outperform the 2-D DFT based lowpass interpolation as well as several existing interpolation methods proposed in the literature.
Abstract: In this paper, we investigate several efficient interpolation techniques for pilot symbol assisted channel estimation in OFDM. The interpolation methods studied include two dimensional (2-D) separable lowpass sine interpolator with Kaiser window, 2-D separable Deslauriers-Dubuc (DD) interpolation and 2-D discrete Fourier transform (DFT) based lowpass interpolation. The performances of these interpolators are compared with those of the well known minimum mean-square error (MMSE) 2-D separable Wiener filter and the perfect channel state information. It is shown that the Kaiser window based interpolator and DD interpolation are simple, robust, and outperform the 2-D DFT based lowpass interpolation as well as several existing interpolation methods proposed in the literature. These two schemes are suitable candidates for use in 1-D and 2-D channel estimation

08 Jun 2015TL;DR: This paper considers an uplink SCMA system employing channel coding, and develops an iterative multiuser receiver which fully utilizes the diversity gain and coding gain in the system.
Abstract: Sparse code multiple access (SCMA) is a novel non-orthogonal multiple access scheme, in which multiple users access the same channel with user-specific sparse codewords. In this paper, we consider an uplink SCMA system employing channel coding, and develop an iterative multiuser receiver which fully utilizes the diversity gain and coding gain in the system. The simulation results demonstrate the superiority of the proposed iterative receiver over the non-iterative one, and the performance gain increases with the system load. It is also shown that SCMA can work well in highly overloaded scenario, and the link-level performance does not degrade even if the load is as high as 300%.

12 Jul 2012TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a cell measurement method, a cell resource sharing method, and a related device to improve the accuracy of the measurement result, and enable the base station to distinguish different measurement results corresponding to different cells.
Abstract: Disclosed are a cell measurement method, a cell resource sharing method, and a related device. The cell measurement method includes: a user equipment receives a measurement configuration message sent by a base station, wherein the measurement configuration message comprises at least one physical cell identity and CSI-RS configuration information corresponding to a measured cell, and wherein the physical cell identity is used to indicate the measured cell; measuring the CSI-RS corresponding to the measured cell according to the CSI-RS configuration information, and obtaining a measurement result of the measuring; sending the obtained measurement result of the measured cell and measurement object information of the measured cell to the base station via a measurement report. The technical solution provided by the present invention can effectively improve the accuracy of the measurement result, and enable the base station to distinguish different measurement results corresponding to different cells.

22 Sep 2009TL;DR: In this paper, a service processing method, service processing system, and a PCRF entity are disclosed to overcome the prior art's inability to handle services discriminatively according to the policy context information when different services require the same QoS level.
Abstract: A service processing method, a service processing system, and a PCRF entity are disclosed to overcome this defect in the prior art: The prior art is unable to handle services discriminatively according to the policy context information when different services require the same QoS level The method includes: receiving bearer priority information from a PCRF entity, where the bearer priority information includes: bearer priority information of a service data stream, bearer priority information of an IP-CAN session, and/or bearer priority information of an IP-CAN bearer; and handling services according to the bearer priority information In the embodiments of the present invention, the policy context information is converted into bearer priority information so that the PCEF handles services according to the bearer priority information In this way, different services that require the same QoS level are handled discriminatively according to the policy context information
