Zigzag-Chain and Cyclic-Tetrameric Compounds Derived by Deprotonation of Mononuclear Copper(II) Complexes with N,N‘-Bis(2-substituted-imidazol-4-ylmethyl- idene)-1,4-diaminobutane (2-Substituent = H, Me): Synthesis, Characterization, Structure, Substituent Effect, and Interconvertibility

TL;DR: Two copper(II) complexes with N,N'-bis(2-substituted-imidazol-4-ylmethylidene)-1,4-diaminobutane (2- substituent = H, 1; Me, 2) were synthesized, and their deprotonation assembly behavior was studied.
Journal ArticleDOI

Novel carbohydrate-appended metal complexes for potential use in molecular imaging.

TL;DR: Two analogues of Re organometallic carbohydrate compounds, [Re(L(2))(CO)(3)Br] and [Re (L(3)(Br)(CO)( 3)Br], were characterized in the solid state by X-ray crystallography and represent the first reported structures of Reorganised carbohydrate compounds.
Journal ArticleDOI

Characterization studies of adenine complexes with 3d metal perchlorates

TL;DR: A series of adenine (LH) complexes with 3d metal perchlorates were prepared by refluxing solutions of the metal salts in ethanol-triethyl orthoformate with the ligand for 2-5 days as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis, structure and SOD-like activity of a ternary Cu(II) complex with 1,10-phenanthroline and L-valinate

TL;DR: The ternary Cu(II) complex with 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) and L-valinate (L-Val) has been synthesized and investigated by elemental analysis, molar conductivity, UV/vis, IR, TG-DTG, and X-ray diffraction methods as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

The Radical Trap in Atom Transfer Radical Polymerization Need Not Be Thermodynamically Stable. A Study of the MoX3(PMe3)3 Catalysts

TL;DR: Electrochemical studies of MoI(3)(PMe(3) in the presence of X(-) (X = Cl or Br) reveal the occurrence of facile halide-exchange processes, leading to the conclusion that the MoI (3)X(PMe (3))( 3) products are also redox unstable.

Metal complexes as ligands—IV [1,2,3]: Bi- and Tri- nuclear complexes derived from metal complexes of tetradentate salicylaldimines

TL;DR: In this paper, a series of bi-and tri-nuclear complexes formed by using the donor properties of the two cis-oxygen atoms in metal (M) complexes of tetradentate Shiff bases (TSB) derived from salicylaldehyde or o-hydroxyacetophenone are reported.

The Donor Properties of Pyridine N-Oxide

TL;DR: The coordination chemistry of pyridine N-oxide with a variety of acceptors has been investigated in this article, where the new substances Co(ClO4)26L, Co(NO3)24L), CoCl23L and CoCl2LH20, NiClO 4H2O, NiBr26L and NiBr2L H2O have been isolated and characterized by molecular conductance measurements in non-aqueous solvents, magnetic susceptibility measurements, and infrared spectra.
