Journal ArticleDOI

In vivo anticancer, anti-inflammatory, and toxicity studies of mixed-ligand Cu(II) complexes of dien and its Schiff dibases with heterocyclic aldehydes and 2-amino-2-thiazoline. Crystal structure of [Cu(dien) (Br)(2a-2tzn)](Br)(H2O).

TL;DR: Results regarding toxicity, antitumor, and anti-inflammatory activities of the investigated compounds are promising and allow the selection of a lead compound for further biological studies.
Journal ArticleDOI

The Use of Conductivity Measurements for the Characterization of Cationic Palladium(II) Complexes and for the Determination of Kinetic and Thermodynamic Data in Palladium‐Catalyzed Reactions

TL;DR: In this article, conductivity measurements are used to characterize the cationic character of aryl-, vinyl-, hydrido-, and (η3-allyl)palladium(II) complexes generated by oxidative addition of triflates, carboxylates, and carbonates, respectively, with palladium(0) complexes in DMF.
Journal ArticleDOI

Heterometallic One-Dimensional Arrays Containing Cyanide-Bridged Lanthanide(III) and Transition Metals.

TL;DR: X-ray crystal structure determinations reveal that arrays 1, 2, and 3 consist of cyanide-bridged "diamond"-shaped Ln(2)Ni(2), metal cores linked together in an infinite array through cyanide bridges by [Ni(CN)(4)](2)(-) anions generating a single-strand chain.

Metal complexes as ligands—IV [1,2,3]: Bi- and Tri- nuclear complexes derived from metal complexes of tetradentate salicylaldimines

TL;DR: In this paper, a series of bi-and tri-nuclear complexes formed by using the donor properties of the two cis-oxygen atoms in metal (M) complexes of tetradentate Shiff bases (TSB) derived from salicylaldehyde or o-hydroxyacetophenone are reported.
Journal ArticleDOI

The Donor Properties of Pyridine N-Oxide

TL;DR: The coordination chemistry of pyridine N-oxide with a variety of acceptors has been investigated in this article, where the new substances Co(ClO4)26L, Co(NO3)24L), CoCl23L and CoCl2LH20, NiClO 4H2O, NiBr26L and NiBr2L H2O have been isolated and characterized by molecular conductance measurements in non-aqueous solvents, magnetic susceptibility measurements, and infrared spectra.
