Facile synthesis of silver(i)-carbene complexes. useful carbene transfer agents

TL;DR: In this paper, the crystal structure of compound 1 revealed that linear [Ag(Et2-Bimy)2]+ and [AgBr2]- groups were associated through a short AgI−AgI contact (2.956 A).
Journal ArticleDOI

The Hydrophilic Phosphatriazaadamantane Ligand in the Development of H2 Production Electrocatalysts: Iron Hydrogenase Model Complexes

TL;DR: The complexes were solution electrocatalysts that decreased over-voltage for H(+) reduction from HOAc in CH(3)CN by up to 600 mV, and the most effective electrocatalyst is the asymmetric 1-PTA species, which promotes H(2) formation from HO Ac at the Fe(0)Fe(I) redox level.
Journal ArticleDOI

Cd(II) and Cu(II) complexes of polydentate Schiff base ligands: synthesis, characterization, properties and biological activity

TL;DR: In this paper, the synthesis of the Schiff base ligands, 4-[(4-bromo-phenylimino)-methyl]-benzene-1,2,3-triol (A1), 4]-(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxy-phenymalin)-methyl]benzenes- 1,2-diol (A5), and their Cd(II) and Cu(II)-metal complexes, stability constants and potentiometric studies.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis, spectral characterization, in vitro antibacterial, antifungal and cytotoxic activities of Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II) complexes with 1,2,4-triazole Schiff bases.

TL;DR: A series of metal complexes of cobalt(II), nickel( II) and copper(II) have been synthesized with newly synthesized biologically active 1,2,4-triazole Schiff bases derived from the condensation of 3-substituted-4-amino-5-mercapto-1-2, 4-Triazole and 8-formyl-7-hydroxy-4

Cobalt(II) complexes of 2,3,5,6-Tetrakis(2-pyridyl)pyrazine and 2,4,6-Tris-(2-pyridyl)-1,3,5-triazine

TL;DR: Bis-ligand cobalt(II) complexes of 2,4,6-tris(2-pyridyl)-1,3,5-triazine and 2, 3,5,6.tetrakis(1,2,5)-pyrazine have been prepared in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Copper(II) complexes of the bidentate chelate di(2-pyridyl) sulphide

TL;DR: In this article, the first copper(11) complexes containing the chelate di(2-pyridyl) sulphide (dps) were described for the first time, including mono complexes of the type Cu dpsX2 (X = Cl, Br, NO2, and 2X = SO4).
Journal ArticleDOI

Complexes of indium(III) chloride with bidentate and terdentate nitrogen donors

TL;DR: In this paper, the far-infrared spectra of indium(III) chloride with several nitrogen donors have been investigated and the far infrared spectra (500-200 cm−1) of the resulting complexes measured.
Journal ArticleDOI

An unusual rhodium iodocarbonyl system

TL;DR: In this paper, the interaction of tertiary phosphines, arsines and stibines with iodocarbonylrhodium solutions yields the complexes, [Rh(CO)L 2 I] and [Rh (CO) L 2 I 3, whereas with pyridine and aniline, anions of the type [RH(CO]LI 4 ] − are the only products obtained.
