Immunophenotypic analysis in participants with Kaposi sarcoma following pomalidomide administration.
Kathryn Lurain,Mark N. Polizzotto,Laurie T. Krug,Griffin Benjamin Shoemaker,Amit Singh,Stig M. R. Jensen,Kathleen M. Wyvill,Ramya Ramaswami,Thomas S. Uldrick,Robert Yarchoan,Irini Sereti +10 more
TL;DR: This article evaluated baseline differences by HIV status and the impact of pomalidomide on lymphocyte counts and T cell subsets in patients with Kaposi sarcoma (KS).
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Implementation and Evaluation of a Modified Mel-Frequency Cepstral Coefficients based Text Independent Automatic Speaker Recognition System
TL;DR: In this paper , a speaker recognition method based on Mel frequency cepstral coefficients (MFCC) was proposed. But, the success rate of this method was only 92 % in case of traditional triangular mel weighing function and 96 % in the case of Gaussian mel weighing functions for the speech segments of 2 seconds.

Human fetal neural stem cell-derived astrocytes maintain glutamate transport after hypoxic injury in vitro
Shrivastava,Dey D,Singal Cms,Jaiswal P,Amit Singh,Jai Bhagwan Sharma,Parthaprasad Chattopadhyay,Jayanth Kumar Palanichamy,Subrata Sinha,Pankaj Seth,Seema Sen +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of hypoxic brain injury on the uptake of excess glutamate from the synapse by EAATs was investigated. But, no change was observed in the expression of EAAT2 and glutamate uptake by astrocytes, even after exposure to hypoxia.
Journal ArticleDOI
Molecular modelling study to discover novel JAK2 signaling pathway inhibitor
Amit Singh,Abha Mishra +1 more
TL;DR: The present study screened Zinc database to find novel JAK2 inhibitors using virtual high throughput screening techniques and identified compound INC000096136346 which qualify Lipinski's rule of five, rule of three, WDI like rule and there is one violation in lead like rule.
Journal ArticleDOI
An elliptical‐shaped rectangular slot antenna at 2.48 GHz for hyperthermia application
TL;DR: In this paper , a novel integrated elliptical ringtone antenna has been proposed, which operates in the industrial, scientific and medical band and the overall size of the antenna is 128.58mm3.
