Search for supersymmetric partners of electrons and muons in proton–proton collisions at √s=13TeV

Albert M. Sirunyan, +2322 more
- 10 Mar 2019 -
TL;DR: In this article, a search for direct production of the supersymmetric partners of electrons or muons is presented in final states with two opposite-charge, same-flavour leptons (electrons and muons), no jets, and large missing transverse momentum.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for new physics in events with two soft oppositely charged leptons and missing transverse momentum in proton-proton collisions at √{ s } = 13TeV

Albert M. Sirunyan, +2310 more
- 10 Jul 2018 -
TL;DR: In this paper, a search for new physics in events with two low-momentum, oppositely charged leptons (electrons or muons) and missing transverse momentum in proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 13.9 fb − 1.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for narrow resonances in dilepton mass spectra in pp collisions at s=7TeV

S. Chatrchyan, +2196 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a search for high-mass resonances decaying to electron or muon pairs has been performed using pp collision data collected at 7 TeV by the CMS experiment in 2011, and the event yields observed in the signal regions are consistent with predictions of the standard model backgrounds.
Journal ArticleDOI

Ab-initio based modeling of diffusion in dilute bcc Fe–Ni and Fe–Cr alloys and implications for radiation induced segregation

TL;DR: In this paper, a combination of ab-initio calculations and statistical mechanical models has been used to study diffusion behavior in dilute ferritic Fe-Cr and Fe-Ni alloys, and a full set of Onsager matrix coefficients (Lij) and tracer diffusion coefficients (D*) were calculated both for vacancy and interstitial mediated diffusion.
Journal ArticleDOI

Searches for supersymmetry using the M-T2 variable in hadronic events produced in pp collisions at 8 TeV

Vardan Khachatryan, +2181 more
TL;DR: In this paper, searches for supersymmetry (SUSY) are performed using a sample of hadronic events produced in 8 TeV pp collisions at the CERN LHC, which are based on the MT2 variable, which is a measure of the transverse momentum imbalance in an event.
