Levels of asymmetrical dimethylarginine are predictive of brachial artery flow-mediated dilation 6 years later

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated whether plasma ADMA levels are predictive of brachial artery endothelial function in a prospective setting, and they found that baseline ADMA had a significant inverse association with FMD measured 6 years later (β±SE: -1.89±0.69%, P=0.006).
Journal ArticleDOI

Associations between connexin37 gene polymorphism and markers of subclinical atherosclerosis : The Cardiovascular Risk in Young Finns study

TL;DR: The connexin37 C1019T polymorphism is not related with markers of subclinical atherosclerosis in young adults and no significant association between the cx37 polymorphism and carotid IMT, CAC or brachial artery FMD was found.
Journal ArticleDOI

Endoglin, VEGF, and its receptors in predicting metastases in endometrial carcinoma.
