Neural basis of impaired safety signaling in Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

TL;DR: It is shown that OCD patients fail to differentiate a safe from a threatening stimulus only after such a reversal, as measured by skin conductance responses, and an absence of vmPFC safety signaling in OCD is revealed, undermining flexible threat updating and explicit contingency knowledge.
