TL;DR: In this paper, the authors propose a method for routing data at a first node of a network comprising at least a second node, by providing the first node with a database FIB storing at least one association between : o an URL component identifying a content at first node, and o a unique identifier associated to the second node.
Abstract: The invention concerns a method for routing data at a first node of a network comprising at least a second node. The method comprises: - providing the first node with a database FIB storing at least one association between : o an URL component identifying a content at the first node, and o a unique identifier associated to the second node, the unique identifier being specified by the second node; - registering a content locally stored in the second node by storing in the database FIB an association between an URL component identifying the locally stored content and the unique identifier of the second node; and, upon reception from a requesting entity, by the first node, of a content request comprising a content identifier, the method further comprises: - checking in the database FIB whether the content identifier comprises the URL component, - and forwarding the content request to the second node if the content identifier comprises the URL component associated with the unique identifier of the second node.

TL;DR: An effective generic communicating rational agent, ARTIMIS, and its application to cooperative spoken dialogue is presented and includes specialised components for speech and natural language processing.
Abstract: We present an effective generic communicating rational agent, ARTIMIS, and its application to cooperative spoken dialogue. ARTIMIS ' kernel is the implementation of a formal theory of interaction. This theory involves a set of generic axioms which models, in a homogeneous logical framework, principles of rational behaviour, communication, and cooperation. The theory is interpreted by a specifically designed reasoning engine. When applied to the context of natural dialogue, ARTIMIS includes specialised components for speech and natural language processing.

TL;DR: In this article, a technique to electronically deliver a message from a sender to an intended recipient based on tracking movement of a mobile object was proposed. But it is not clear how to determine whether the specified mobile object has reached the designated location.
Abstract: A technique to electronically deliver a message from a sender to an intended recipient based on tracking movement of a mobile object, including obtaining a message provided by the sender, obtaining a location designated by the sender for delivery of the message, tracking a specified mobile object having a positiondetermining device that determines its own current position, and which transmits its then current position at preset time intervals, determining from the transmitted current position whether the specified mobile object has reached the designated location, and initiating a procedure for automatic delivery of the message electronically to the intended recipient upon the specified mobile object being determined to have reached the designated location

TL;DR: In this article, a method for making a semiconductor device consisting of a silicon substrate whereon is formed a stack of layers is described, where the stack comprises at least first and second successive assemblies each consisting, relative to the substrate, a thin lower SiGe layer and a thin upper silicon layer.
Abstract: The invention concerns a method for making a semiconductor device consisting of a silicon substrate whereon is formed a stack of layers. The stack comprises at least first and second successive assemblies each consisting, relative to the substrate, a thin lower SiGe layer and a thin upper silicon layer. It consists in forming on the thin upper silicon layer of the second assembly a thin silicon dioxide layer (18) so that said layer maintains the layers of the stack in place, at least on the two opposite lateral sides of the stack; then successively etching laterally and selectively the SiGe layers to form tunnels which are filled with a dielectric substance.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a method for delivering personalized (e.g., contextual) messages to a user that meets certain geographic, affiliation/metadata, timing, and/or or other criteria.
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for delivering personalized (e.g., contextual) messages to a user that meets certain geographic, affiliation/metadata, timing, and/or or other criteria. These messages are geographically and logically persistent, and can be left by members of the user's social or “buddy” network, individuals, institutions, the user's service provider(s), or even advertisers or others seeking a commercial opportunity. These messages can be rendered in the form of voice, video, audio (e.g., MP3), text and graphics delivered to mobile phones, PDA's or other devices with network connectivity. Exemplary embodiments of the invention incorporate existing geo-localization technologies such as GPS embedded in these mobile platforms, or triangulation via signals from the cellular/PCS networks, IP addressing, presence in ad hoc networks, cell ID, E911/E112, Time of Arrival (TOA), Time Difference of Arrival (TDOA), Observed Time Difference (OTD) and Angle of Arrival (AOA).
