Abstract: Handout materials are materials that are Concise and complete. One the innovations of the handout was a handout discovery model of curriculum corresponding to 2013. This research aims to Identify a) species richness of Spermatophyta plants in Paseban parks Bangkalan to develop discovery model on the material handout, b) to test the validity of the handout models of plant discovery Plantae Spermatophyta on learning, c) to test the effectiveness of the handout model of discovery of plant Spermatophyta, d) to test the response of students and teachers against the handout models of plant Spermatophyta discovery. Method development using the method of ADDIE. Results of the study include a) 28 species that comprise the family Cannaceae, Liliaceae, Acanthaceae, Rubiaceae, Agaveaceae, Rubiaceae, Apocynaceae, Palma, Fabeacae, Nygtaginaceae, euphorbiaceae, Cydaceaae, Gnetaceae, Pinaceae and. b) The validity of expert material and expert media an average of 94.92% with very valid criteria c) Effectiveness handouts based on test results of t-test results Showed significant 0:04 Becauseρ value < α 0:05. The experiment has been completed on the class 100%. The percentage of the value of the excellent category of affective on classroom control 85.51% and 90.23% in class experiments. The percentage of psychomotor categories very well at 79.08% control classes and experiments 86.19%, Thus it can be stated that giving a handout models Effectively discovery. d) Response use the handout model of discovery of 95.66% included in the category of very decent.

Abstract: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui keefektifan pembelajaran Think Pair Share (TPS) Berbantuan Mouse Mischief terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X materi fungsi kuadrat. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Temanggung tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Pemilihan sampel dengan cara random sampling, diperoleh siswa X-2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X-4 sebagai kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen diajar dengan pembelajaran TPS Berbantuan Mouse Mischief , sedangkan kelas kontrol diajar dengan pembelajaran ekspositori. Pengambilan data diperoleh dengan metode dokumentasi untuk mendapatkan data nilai mid semester matematika dan metode tes untuk menentukan hasil belajar siswa yang kemudian dianalisis dengan uji ketuntasan dan uji perbedaan rata-rata. Hasil penelitian adalah (1) hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen mencapai ketuntasan belajar, baik ketuntasan individual maupun ketuntasan klasikal; dan (2) rata-rata hasil belajar kelas eksperimen lebih baik dari kelas kontrol. The purpose of this research was to determine the effectiveness of Think Pair Share (TPS) learning Assisted by Mouse Mischief towards students learning achievement grade X in quadratic functions material. The population in this research is student of grade X of SMA Negeri 1 Temanggung 2012/2013 academic year. The research samples were taken by using random sampling and found class X-2 as the experiment group and class X-4 as the control group. Experiment class was taught by TPS learning assisted by Mouse Mischief, while the control class was taught with the expository learning. Data is collected obtained by the documentation method to get math midterm score and test method for determining student learning achievement which is then analyzed by learning mastery test, individually and classically and the mean difference test. The results of this research are (1) the experiment class which implements TPS learning assisted by Mouse Mischief has reached mastery of learning, individually and classically, (2) the learning achievement of the experiment group that implements TPS learning assisted by Mouse Mischief is better than the control group that implements expository learning.

Abstract: Bedbugs are harmful human blood-sucking ectoparasites. The disadvantages of a bedbug bite cause itching, redness bumps, secondary infections, and anemia in children. Bedbugs controller so far uses harmful chemical pesticides, but reappearance of bedbugs indicates less effective chemical pesticides, and becomes a serious problem. So it needs safer controller for human health. This study aims to analyze the d-Limonene activity of orange peel (Citrus sinensis L.) in controlling the bedbug infestation (Cimex cimicidae). The study was conducted through 5 stages: d-Limonene isolation, GC-MS characterization, bioassay Y test d-Limonene nanoparticles, SEM characterization, and d-Limonene activity test on bedbug. The results showed that the essential oil of orange peel contained the main compounds as d-Limonene (90.018%), 1,6-Octadien-3-ol, 3,7-dimethyl- (3,017%), β-Myrcene (2.071%), Octanal (0.349%), 1-Octanol (0.589%), 1R-α-Pinene (0.688%), 6-Octen-1-ol, 3,7-dimethyl- (0.667%), 3-Cyclohexene-1- methanol, α, α, 4-trimethyl-, (S)-(1.453%), and Bicyclo [3.1.1] heptane, 6.6-dimethyl�2-methylene-, (1S) - (1.147%). The Bioassay Y test shows that d-Limonene was both repellent and fumigant, d-Limonene nanoparticles had uneven and irregular surface morphology, and in the flea activity test showed more than 50% bedbugs death. These research concluded that d-Limonene compounds from sweet orange peel had activity to control the bedbugs.

Abstract: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keefektifan pembelajaran model POGIL berbantuan alat peraga dan berbasis etnomatematika terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII SMPN 3 Batang tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Dengan menggunakan simple random sampling terpilih sampel yaitu siswa kelas VIIIA sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas VIIIC sebagai kelas kontrol. Metode yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data yaitu dokumentasi, tes dan angket. Data dianalisis menggunakan independent samples t-test , paired samples t-test , uji proporsi, dan regresi linear. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa kelas yang dikenai pembelajaran model POGIL berbantuan alat peraga dan berbasis etnomatematika pada aspek kemampuan komunikasi matematis mencapai ketuntasan klasikal, rata-rata kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang dikenai pembelajaran model POGIL berbantuan alat peraga dan berbasis etnomatematika lebih tinggi daripada rata-rata kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang dikenai pembelajaran ekspositori, sikap siswa terhadap budaya setelah dikenai pembelajaran model POGIL berbantuan alat peraga dan berbasis etnomatematika lebih baik daripada sikap siswa sebelum dikenai pembelajaran model POGIL berbantuan alat peraga dan berbasis etnomatematik, sikap siswa terhadap budaya berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa sebesar 70,4%. Jadi, pembelajaran model POGIL berbantuan alat peraga dan berbasis etnomatematika efektif terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa.
