TL;DR: In this paper, a socio-legal approach, qualitative research with descriptive analytical research specifications, and techniques of data collection through interviews and documentation methods was used to examine three main points: (1) the effort of corrupted asset which save abroad; (2) roles of state institutions and law enforcement officers on assets recovery; and (3) the obstacles on asset recovery.
One of aimed indicators on corruption eradication in Indonesia is the successful of assets recovery. Trend of corruption that cross border nations and involved many actors caused the assets recovery process was not easy to be done. This paper would examine three main points: (1) the effort of corrupted asset which save abroad; (2) roles of state institutions and law enforcement officers on assets recovery; and (3) the obstacles on assets recovery. The paper used a socio-legal approach, qualitative research with descriptive analytical research specifications, and techniques of data collection through interviews and documentation methods. This paper was underlined that assets recovery can be optimized by two ways, one of formal track through MLA and other is informal track with diplomatic relations. The process of assets recovery started from (1) identify and trace, (2) legal proceedings, and until (3) repatriate. The obstacles on asset recovery was concerning to a different legal system, a weakness of judicial verdict, good and political will of government, and the implementation of bank secrecy principle in some countries. Some problems faced in assets recovery process resolved by conducting bilateral agreements, improving the competence of law enforcement officers, and establishing the rules and supporting infrastructure. The roles of government, whether it’s Attorney General, National Central Bureau Interpol Indonesia, KPK, Kemenkumham, or Kemenlu, all of which mutually support one another in an effort to return the assets in accordance with the rules of the applicable law. This paper concluded that the asset recovery requires cooperation between institutions and law enforcement agencies both within and outside the country.

TL;DR: In this paper, an experimental research with a factorial design aimed to find out the effectiveness of GIST and KWL strategies to improve reading achievement of male and female students.
Abstract: This study is an experimental research with a factorial design which aimed to find out the effectiveness of GIST and KWL strategies to improve reading achievement of male and female students. The samples of the study were the eleventh students of Senior High School 2 Demak in the academic year of 2014/2015. There were two classes, the first and the second experimental groups. GIST strategy was used in the first experimental group, and KWL strategy was used in the second experimental group. To answer research questions number one up to five, T-test was used. While two-ways ANOVA with F-test at the 5% (0.05) level of significance was used to answer the fifth up to seventh question. The result of this study showed that GIST and KWL strategies are effective to improve reading achievement of male and female students. In additon, there is no significant difference of the use of GIST and KWL strategies to improve reading achievement of male and female students. Futhermore, there is no significant difference of gender in using GIST and KWL strategies to improve reading achievement. Finally, there is no interaction among GIST, and KWL strategies, reading achievement, and gender.

TL;DR: In this paper, a study was conducted to determine whether there were differences in student's motivation and character between students who were taught by integrated contextual learning with character education (experimental class) and students who are taught by conventional method (control class).
Abstract: The learning outcomes of pharmacy students in Cirebon were still lacking, as well as student’s motivation and character. The teaching strategies used by teachers were still conventional and character education has not been optimal. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there were differences in student’s motivation and character between students who were taught by integrated contextual learning with character education (experimental class) and students who were taught by conventional method (control class). The research method used was the experiment. The data analysis technique was independent sample t-test. The results of this study were (1) the tcount value for the character honesty; discipline; and responsibilities were 4.118; 3.709; and 7.950 respectively, > the ttable 2.003, it means that there was differences in the characters between the control and the experimental class; (2) the tcount value for student’s motivation was 3.506 > the ttable 2.003, it means that there was difference in student’s learning motivation between the control and the experimental class. The student’s responses toward learning in the experimental class amounted to 82.59% in the very good category. The result of this study are expected to contribute the information for education practitioners especially in vocational schools.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors determined the factors that affect the flow of foreign investment into the Indonesian stock market that includes the factors of return, risk, and inflation derived from foreign markets/global (push factor) and from the domestic market (pull factor).
Abstract: The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that affect the flow of foreign investment into the Indonesian Stock Market that includes the factors of return, risk, and inflation derived from foreign markets/ global (push factor) and from the domestic market (pull factor). Testing is done by using analysis model Autoregressive Conditional Heteroscedasticity (ARCH) and Generalized Autoregressive Conditional Heteroscedasticity (GARCH). Testing is done with six estimation models among them ARCH, GARCH, ARCH-M (2,1), ARCH-M (2,2), Treshold Autoregressive Conditional Heteroscedasticity (TARCH), dan Exponential Generalized Autoregressive Conditional Heteroscedasticity (EGARCH). Using the significance of estimation parameters, goodness of fit model, Akaike’s Information Criterion test, Schwarz Information test, and ARCH effect test, found the best model is ARCH-M (2,1) estimation model. The results of testing with ARCH-M (2,1) model showed that the return and domestic risk (pull factor) significantly have a relation with the flow of foreign investment in Indonesia Stock Exchange, while return , risk, global inflation (push factor), and domestic inflation have no significant effect.
