Abstract: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui faktor risiko dari penyakit filariasis di Kelurahan Kertoharjo Kota Pekalongan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kasus kontrol. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh penderita filariasis berdasarkan rekam medik Dinas Kesehatan Kota Pekalongan berjumlah 34 orang. Sampel penelitian yaitu 17 kasus dan 17 kontrol. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner. Hasil uji chi-quare sebagai berikut: (1) praktek menutup ventilasi dengan kawat kasa (p=0,034;OR=6,667), (2) tempat perindukan nyamuk (p=0,015;OR=8,556), (3) kebiasaan keluar rumah malam hari (p=0,006;OR=11,200), (4) kebiasaan menggunakan obat nyamuk oles (p=0,002; OR=15,167), (5) kondisi santitasi sekitar rumah (p= 0,015;OR(8,556), (6) tingkat pengetahuan tentang filariasis (p=0,012;OR=10,714), (7) jenis pekerjaan (p=0,034 ;OR=6,667), (8) kebiasaan menggunakan baju panjang dan celana panjang saat keluar rumah malam hari (p=0,002;OR=15,167), (9) praktek minum obat filariasis (p=0,005; OR= 13,750), (10) keberadaan kandang ternak di sekitar rumah (p=0,720), (11) jenis kelamin (p=0,490). Abstract: A sustainable and renewable biobased polyester polyol for polyurethane production was synthesized through the esterification of azelaic acid and sorbitol catalyzed by tin(II) oxide in a batch system. The studies on chemical equilibrium, reaction kinetics and important operating parameters were carried out. The temperature, molar ratio of sorbitol to azelaic acid and catalyst loading were varied in order to determine the best reaction conditions. The polyester polyol synthesized was tested for its fatty acid content through titration. The best operating condition found was at reaction temperature of 433 K, sorbitol to azelaic acid molar ratio of 4:1 and catalyst loading of 2 wt %, yielding 72% azelaic acid conversion after 6 h of reaction. The presence of minute amount of sorbitan and isosorbide inferred the potential of sorbitol-based branched polyester formation with its backbone incorporated with these sorbitol anhydrides. Abstract: ZnO thin films are deposited on glass substrate using sol–gel spin coating methods with various annealing temperatures. The structural, morphological, and optical properties are studied by XRD, FE-SEM, UV–Vis, and photoluminescence spectrophotometer. The photocatalytic activity was assessed by examining the decomposition of Rhodamine-B (Rh-B) dye under UV illumination. The result shows that the ZnO films have a hexagonal wurtzite structure with highly preferred c-axis orientation. The (101) crystallographic plane appears at higher annealing temperatures. The transmittance of ZnO films is more than 80%, with a slight red shift in absorption and decrease in the optical band gaps as the annealing temperature increases to some extent. The photoluminescence spectra of the ZnO films at room temperature demonstrated the ultra-violet (UV) emission with a peak emission at 410 nm (3.03 eV). According to the photocatalytic activity examination, the presence of (101) plane in the c-axis oriented ZnO films enhances the photocatalytic performance by a factor of 5. The result revealed that ZnO films with multi-orientation structure possess better photocatalytic performance than that of the single-orientation ones. In particular, the photocatalytic performance is highly contributed by the polar crystal plane and slightly improved by the crystallinity and surface morphology.

Abstract: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan bentuk dan fungsi tindak tutur ekspresif humanis, karakteristik tindak tutur ekspresif humanis dilihat dari tiga dimensi wacana Rymes, dan alasan penggunaan tindak tutur ekspresif humanis dalam interaksi pembelajaran. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Analisis Wacana Kelas. Data dikumpulkan dengan metode simak, dilanjutkan dengan teknik simak bebas libat tan cakap, rekam, dan catat. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode padan dengan teknik dasar pilah unsur penentu. Hasil penelitian, bentuk tuturan langsung bermodus imperatif cenderung lebih sering dituturkan pada aspek mengamati. Fungsi tindak tutur ekspresif humanis yang cenderung digunakan adalah mengkritik atau menyarankan. Tindak tutur ekspresif humanis memiliki karakteristik, berdasarkan teori Rymes, mempertimbangkan dan memperhatikan konteks sosial, konteks interaksional, dan individual agency.The purpose of this study was to describe the shape and function of expressive speech acts humanist, humanists expressive speech acts characteristic of a three-dimensional views rymes discourse, and reason for the use of expressive speech acts humanist in learning interactions. The study design used is a Class Discourse Analysis. Data collected by the method seen above, continued to refer to the techniques involved tan-free conversation, record, and record. Data were analyzed by using basic techniques pilah match with decisive element. The results of the study, the imperative form of speech directly bermodus tend more often spoken at observing aspects. Fungsitindak expressive speech humanist most widely used is to criticize or suggest. Humanist expressive speech acts have characteristics, based on the theory rymes, consider and pay attention to the social context, interactional context, and individual agency.

Abstract: Materi larutan penyangga banyak mengandung konsep abstrak dan berkaitan erat dengan kehidupan sehari-hari sehingga memerlukan penjelasan dalam berbagai bentuk representasi yang dapat memvisualisasikan materi larutan penyangga sehingga diharapkan siswa dapat mengamati gejala-gejala yang terjadi dan menganalisis serta menarik kesimpulan yang lebih komprehensif. Pembelajaran yang dapat menunjang pembelajaran tersebut adalah pembelajaran multiple representasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan tingkat kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi larutan penyangga di kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 12 Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif dan subyek penelitian kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 12 Semarang sebanyak 76 siswa. Data penelitian diperoleh dari tes pemahaman konsep berbentuk three-tier multiple choice yang telah divalidasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi larutan penyangga menunjukkan indikator pemahaman konsep belum semua terpenuhi secara maksimal oleh seluruh siswa. Hal tersebut karena indikator penelitian mengklasifikasikan masih tergolong kriteria sedang pada materi larutan penyangga yaitu sebesar 45,53% paham, 31,05% kurang paham, 12,96% miskonsepsi, dan 10,46% tidak paham.
