TL;DR: In this article, the authors used unigram and grid search as parameter optimization to improve SVM classification accuracy in order to improve the performance of SVM in E-commerce platforms such as Amazon and Lazada.
Abstract: Electronic Commerce (E-Commerce) is distributing, buying, selling, and marketing goods and services over electronic systems such as the Internet, television, websites, and other computer networks. E-commerce platforms such as amazon.com and Lazada.co.id offer products with various price and quality. Sentiment analysis used to understand the product’s popularity based on customers’ reviews. There are some approaches in sentiment analysis including machine learning. The part of machine learning that focuses on text processing called text mining. One of the techniques in text mining is classification and Support Vector Machine (SVM) is one of the frequently used algorithms to perform classification. Feature and parameter selection in SVM significantly affecting the classification accuracy. In this study, we chose unigram as the feature extraction and grid search as parameter optimization to improve SVM classification accuracy. Two customer review datasets with different language are used which is Amazon reviews that written in English and Lazada reviews in the Indonesian language. 10-folds cross validation and confusion matrix are used to evaluating the experiment results. The experiment results show that applying unigram and grid search on SVM algorithm can improve Amazon review accuracy by 26,4% and Lazada reviews by 4,26%.

TL;DR: In this article, the relation between personality traits and the fear of missing out on students was recognized by analyzing the Big Five Inventory scale data collected by 643 students and found that extraversion and agreeableness have positive correlation to fear of miss out while neuroticism has negative correlation.
Abstract: The internet users, especially social media users are increasing in the last decade. This intensive using of social media induces behavioral changes of its users. One of the phenomena emerging is the fear of missing out. Personality has different effect on the rising fear. This research is aimed to recognize the relation between personality traits on fear of missing out on students. This study involved 643 students. The research data were collected by Big Five Inventory scale. The fear of missing out scale is modified from the previous research (Hato, 2013 and Przybylski, 2013). The data were analyzed by multiple regression using statistic software. The analysis resulted in r= 0,248 with significance or p= 0,000, therefore hypothesis stating that there is a relation between the big five personality traits and fear of missing out about social media is accepted. The research results show that extraversion and agreeableness have positive correlation to fear of missing out. While neuroticism has negative correlation and conscientiousness doesn’t correlate to fear of missing out.

TL;DR: In this paper, an ethnographic case study was employed to explore and observe student activities in a virtual class in Google Classroom, where students were able to construct their knowledge by actively participating in an online discussion forum, and instructional practices can be performed efficiently.
Abstract: Information and communication technologies have become a very powerful means of student engagement in an online learning environment. Google Classroom is an easy-to-use educational application that enables teachers to extend their student learning online. With Google Classroom, teachers can create classes, post assignment, grade and send feedback, and see students' works in real-time. This study aims to investigate the students' perspectives on their engagement in online learning in Google Classroom. An ethnographic case study was employed to explore and observe student activities in a virtual class in Google Classroom. Questionnaire survey and semi-structured interviews were conducted to understand students' perceptions of online learning through Google Classroom. The results showed that Google Classroom has good potential to support students' learning. Students could access the learning resources provided by the teacher at anytime and anywhere. They were also able to construct their knowledge by actively participating in an online discussion forum, and the instructional practices can be performed efficiently. Some challenges that arise included the limited availability of devices, technical issues, and the low level of familiarity of Google Classroom's features, the readiness of students to study independently online. Although challenges arise, the teacher enabled to deal with the issues well.
