TL;DR: In this article, the authors analyzed the factors that affect voluntary disclosure and the implications for the information asymmetry in the companies' annual reports of consumer goods manufacturing sector listed in the Indonesian Stock Exchange.
Abstract This study aims are to obtain empirical evidence and to analyze the factors that affect toward extensive voluntary disclosure and the implications for the information asymmetry. The population in this study are the companies' annual reports of consumer goods manufacturing sector listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange for year of 2010-2011. The sampling technique is purposive sampling method which results for 46 samples in 2010-2011. The research was commited by two separated linear regression analyzes, the first stage is a multiple linear regression and the second stage of analysis is a simple linear regression analysis. The results of this study describes the first stage of the research model, the public shareholding portion has a positive effect of voluntary disclosure. Liquidity has a negative effect of voluntary disclosure. Meanwhile, the age listed and size of the public accounting firm do not affect toward extensive voluntary disclosure. Furthermore, for the second stage of the research model, the extensive voluntary disclosure variable has proven that it has a negative impact on information asymmetry.

TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of regeneration method on the characteristics and activity of Ni/Za catalyst after being used in a continuous cracking reaction of polypropylene have been studied.
Abstract: Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 The phenomena of catalyst deactivation and the effects of regeneration method on the characteristics and activity of Ni/ZA catalyst after being used in a continuous cracking reaction of polypropylene have been studied. Ni/ZA catalyst was prepared using sonochemical method with total metal intake of 4%. Characteristics and activity of fresh, spent, and regenerated catalyst were evaluated to get a better understanding about the catalyst deactivation. Characteristics which have been observed include catalyst acidity, porosity, crystallinity, and surface morphology. Catalytic activity test of Ni/ZA catalyst on polypropylene cracking reaction at temperature of 500 °C with H 2 flow rate of 20 mL/min and catalyst:feed ratio of 1:2 (w/w) showed the decrease of some catalyst characteristics such as specific surface area, total pore volume, and acidity due to coke fouling over a five-times continuous experiment. Regeneration of catalyst with oxidation-reduction method has been able to increase the activity and acidity of catalyst up to 7.47% and 38.54%, respectively, compared to those of spent catalyst, while the catalyst surface area and total pore volume decreased up to 32.83% and 26.92%, respectively. /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0cm 5.4pt 0cm 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0cm; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman"; mso-ansi-language:#0400; mso-fareast-language:#0400; mso-bidi-language:#0400;}

TL;DR: It was indicated in this study that the use of such learning model improved the graphical literacy capability better than the traditional learning, which covered ability to identify experimental variables, using the experimental tools, making a graph, formulating mathematical equation, making predictions on the basis of the graph.
Abstract: The purpose of this study is to develop computer-based experiment of free fall movement to improve the graphical literacy of the Physics Education students. This study employed quasi-experimental design, particularly the pre-test and post-test control group design. The sample was 58 students of the first semester of Physics Education study program. They were divided into two groups, namely 38 students constituted an experimental group and 20 students constituted the control group. Both groups joined learning activities at laboratory and classrooms with the same topic which is the free fall movement. Computer-based learning models were used to design learning activities for the experimental group, while the control group used a traditional learning model with manual experiment with stopwatch and never use experiment tool of free fall movement. It was indicated in this study that the use of such learning model improved the graphical literacy capability better than the traditional learning, which covered ability to identify experimental variables, using the experimental tools, making a graph, formulating mathematical equation, making predictions on the basis of the graph.

Abstract: The reason to do this research is because the creative thinking ability, motivation and mastery concept still less than optimal. The purpose of this research is to analyze the improvement of creative thinking ability, motivation and mastery of students’ concepts through cooperative discovery learning model. This research is quantitative research and design experimental with nonequivalent control group. The population in this research is the fifth grade students’ of Rejosari 02 and Rejosari 03 elementary schools. The sample of this research is choosen by using purposive sampling technique. The are 5a obtained 51 students as a control class and class 5b, 50 students as an experimental class. The research instrument is in the form of tests of creative thinking ability, questionnaire of learning motivation and concept of mastery test. The hypothesis test using the N-gain test and independent sample t-test. The result showed as follows: (1) the improvement of students’ creative thinking ability taught by using cooperative discovery learning of, is in category and those who average are in medium category. (2) the improvement of students’ learning motivation that taught by using cooperative discovery learning is of 82.12 and that of conventional learning is of 76.69. (3) There is a difference in the mastery of students' concepts that taught by using cooperative discovery learning and the conventional learning. So it can be concluded that by using cooperative discovery learning are the students’ creative thinking, motivation and concept mastery higher than that of conventional learning. This research gives the implication that cooperative discovery learning is suitable to use in the fifth grade of elementary school to increase the students’ creative thinking, motivation and as.
