TL;DR: A component quality model is proposed, describing consistent and well-defined characteristics, quality attributes and related metrics for the components evaluation that will help software component's industry reaches the maturity exhibited by other component industries.
Abstract: Component-based software development is becoming more generalized, representing a considerable market for the software industry. The perspective of reduced development costs and shorter life cycles acts as a motivation for this expansion. However, several technical issues remain unsolved before software component?s industry reaches the maturity exhibited by other component industries. Problems such as the component selection by their integrators and the uncertain quality of third-party developed components, bring new challenges to the software engineering community. By the other hand, the software components certification area is still immature and further research is needed in order to obtain well-defined standards for certification. In this way, we aim to propose a component quality model, describing consistent and well-defined characteristics, quality attributes and related metrics for the components evaluation. A preliminary evaluation to analyze the results of using the component quality model proposed is also presented.

TL;DR: AgNP colloids proved to be non-irritating, as they were unable to promote vasoconstriction, haemorrhage or coagulation, and they do not promote colour change in dental enamel, which is an aesthetic advantage compared with traditional silver products.

TL;DR: The prevalence of mouth breathing children at the santo amaro project/ esef/ upe, and study their main facial and behavior alterations without significant statistical difference between genders, age and type of breathing was found to be high.
Abstract: Summary Aim To determine the prevalence of mouth breathing children at the santo amaro project/ esef/ upe, and study their main facial and behavior alterations. Study design transversal study. Materials and methods there were 150 children in the sample, with ages ranging from 8 to 10 years. Data was collected by means of a questionnaire and clinical examinations. As for their breathing assessment, two tests were carried out: test 1- breath steam against a mirror; and test 2 - water remains in the mouth with lips closed for 3 minutes. Results mouth breathing prevalence was of 53.3%. There was no significant difference between gender, age and type of breathing. Facial alterations were: incomplete lip closure (58.8% X 5,7%), fallen eyes (40.0% X 1.4%), High palate (38.8% X 2.9%), Anterior open bite (60.0% Versus 30.0%), Hypotonic lips (3.8% X 0.0%), Circles under the eyes (97.5% Versus 77.1%). Conclusion high mouth breathing prevalence without significant statistical difference between genders, age and type of mouth breathing. There was no association between behavior characteristics and type of breathing. There were significant differences between physical traits and breathing pattern.

TL;DR: A case of a 21 years-old black woman who developed a Bell's palsy after an impacted third molar surgery under local anaesthesia is reported, and a FNP classified like a grade IV by the House-Brackmann's grading system is presented.
Abstract: Facial nerve paralysis (FNP) is the most common cranial nerve disorders and it results in a characteristic facial distortion that is determined in part by the nerves branches involved. With multiples etiologies, these included trauma, tumor formation, idiopathic conditions, cerebral infarct, pseudobulbar palsy and viruses. FNP during dental treatment is very rare and can be associated with the injection of local anesthetic, prolonged attempt to remove a mandibular third molar and subsequent infection. We report a case of a 21 years-old black woman who developed a Bell's palsy after an impacted third molar surgery under local anaesthesia, present a FNP classified like a grade IV by the House-Brackmann's grading system. The treatment was based of prescription of a cytidine and uridine complex (NUCLEO CMP tm) one tablet twice per day and a close follow up. Three months later that had beginning the treatment, the patient recovery her normal facial muscle activity.
