Abstract
This report describes an enhanced test system (RTS-96) for use in bulk power system reliability evaluation studies. The value of the test system is that it will permit comparative and benchmark studies to be performed on new and existing reliability evaluation techniques. The test system was developed by modifying and updating the original IEEE RTS (referred to as RTS-79 hereafter) to reflect changes in evaluation methodologies and to overcome perceived deficiencies.

Price Modification Attack and Protection Scheme in Smart Grid

TL;DR: This paper studies the problem of price modification attack through fabrication of price messages, which induces changes in load profiles of individual users and eventually causes major alteration in the load profile of the entire network, and formulate new protection strategy against PMA.

Security-constrained unit commitment with uncertain wind generation: The loadability set approach

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a new approach to the security-constrained unit commitment (SCUC) with uncertain wind power generation, which is called reduced SCUC or R-SCUC, based on the notion of loadability set.

A convolutional neural network-based approach to composite power system reliability evaluation

TL;DR: A convolutional neural network (CNN)-based regression approach is proposed to determine the minimum amount of load curtailments of sampled states without solving optimal power flow (OPF) except in the training stage, which is computationally efficient (fast and accurate) in calculating the most common composite system reliability indices.
