The reaction of kaolin with fluorides. II. Effect of aqueous hydrofluoric acid

TL;DR: In this paper, the dissolution of kaolinite in aqueous solution of hydrofluoric acid was investigated at different temperatures and fluoride concentrations and the percentage dissolution was greater than was to be expected from a theoretical consideration of the reaction.

Satyabrata Ray, +1 more
- 01 Jan 1961 -
TL;DR: The mineralogy of the Middle Ordovician Jacksonburg limestone formation in eastern Pennsylvania and western New Jersey is simple and almost monotonously uniform as discussed by the authors, and the chlorite-poor units of the Jacksonburg formation may represent shallow marine deposits with the bulk of the formation having been deposited in deeper water.

H. Bergseth
TL;DR: In this paper, a deutliche Steigerung der Kationenaustauschkapazitat und eine Gitterstorung in Richtung auf Vermiculit wird vorgeschlagen.
