Measurement of upsilon production in 7 TeV pp collisions at ATLAS

Georges Aad, +2898 more
- 04 Mar 2013 -
TL;DR: In this article, the production cross sections of Upsilon(1S,2S,3S) mesons are reconstructed using the dimuon decay mode. And the results of the reconstruction are compared to several theoretical models of upsilon meson production, finding that none provide an accurate description of the data over the full range of Upsilicon transverse momenta accessible with this data set.
Journal ArticleDOI

Evidence forD0−D¯0Mixing

B. Aubert, +572 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present evidence for mixing in colliding-beam data with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II storage rings at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center.
Journal ArticleDOI

Measurement of the $t\bar{t}$ production cross-section using $e\mu$ events with $b$-tagged jets in $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}=7$ and 8 TeV with the ATLAS detector

Georges Aad, +2884 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors measured the top quark pair production cross-section in proton-proton collisions at 7 TeV and 8 TeV with the ATLAS experiment at the LHC, using ttbar events with an opposite-charge e-mu pair in the final state.
Journal ArticleDOI

Study of CP violation in Dalitz-plot analyses of B0→K+K-KS0, B+→K+K-K+, and B+→KS0KS0K+

J. P. Lees, +375 more
- 22 Jun 2012 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the amplitude analysis of the decays of the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy B factory at the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for dark matter in events with heavy quarks and missing transverse momentum in $pp$ collisions with the ATLAS detector

Georges Aad, +2872 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a search for dark matter pair production in association with bottom or top quarks in 20.3 fb−1 of pp collisions collected at s√=8 TeV by the ATLAS detector at the LHC is described.
