Interactions between the −514C→T polymorphism of the hepatic lipase gene and lifestyle factors in relation to HDL concentrations among US diabetic men

TL;DR: In contrast to trunk fat, large leg fat appears to have favorable effects on adipokines, inflammatory markers, and MetS risk among Chinese, and the opposite associations between regional fat depots andMetS risk may partially mediated by adipokine and inflammatory status.
