TL;DR: A comparative analysis on the different transfer learning approaches in the domain of hand-written digit recognition using two performance measures, loss and accuracy is performed.
Abstract: Deep learning has paved the way for critical and revolutionary applications in almost every field of life in general. Ranging from engineering to healthcare, machine learning and deep learning has left its mark as the state-of-the-art technology application which holds the epitome of a reasonable high benchmarked solution. Incorporating neural network architectures into applications has become a common part of any software development process. In this paper, we perform a comparative analysis on the different transfer learning approaches in the domain of hand-written digit recognition. We use two performance measures, loss and accuracy. We later visualize the different results for the training and validation datasets and reach to a unison conclusion. This paper aims to target the drawbacks of the electronic whiteboard with simultaneous focus on the suitable model selection procedure for the digit recognition problem. © 2021 Tamkang University. TL;DR: A series of novel spiro[indole-thiazolidines] derivatives from 5-substituted isatin derivatives and thioglycolic acid with ZrSiO2 as an efficient catalyst under microwave irradiation for in vitro anti-mycobacterial activity against the Mycobacterium tuberculosis strain.
Abstract: In the current investigation, we prepared a series of novel spiro[indole-thiazolidines] derivatives (5a–5h) from 5-substituted isatin derivatives and thioglycolic acid (TGA) with ZrSiO2 as an efficient catalyst under microwave irradiation. The significant merits of this protocol have some significant merits such as simplicity in operation, simple, efficient workup, good practical yields of product and the employment of recyclable catalyst. All the new synthesized scaffold has been well characterized by various spectroscopic methods and elemental analysis. All the spiro scaffolds were subjected to in vitro anti-mycobacterial activity against the Mycobacterium tuberculosis (H37Rv) strain. We have carried out molecular docking study of our synthesized compounds. We also calculated theoretically ADME–Tox parameters for synthesized compounds.

TL;DR: In this paper, the causal nexus between various sources of energy consumption, viz. Coal, Crude Oil, Electricity and Natural Gas, CO2 emissions, economic growth and trade in India using the Perron unit root test, Gregory and Hansen cointegration test and Vector Error Correction Model was examined.
Abstract: The purpose of the study is to examine the causal nexus between various sources of energy consumption, viz. Coal, Crude Oil, Electricity and Natural Gas, CO2 emissions, economic growth and trade in India using the Perron unit root test, Gregory and Hansen cointegration test and Vector Error Correction Model. The study exhibits a long-run relationship between various sources of energy consumption, economic growth, CO2 emissions and trade in India. By and large, the empirical results confirm that economic growth fuels rate of various sources of energy consumption i.e. coal, crude petroleum, electricity and natural gas. The findings reveal that increase in CO2 emissions leads to achieve high level of economic activity in India. In addition, the study finds that foreign trade influences the various sources of non-renewable energy consumption in the long-term. However, the energy consumption do not significantly contributes towards promoting foreign trade, except crude petroleum, in the short-run.
