Pseudorapidity distribution of charged hadrons in proton-proton collisions at s=13 tev

Vardan Khachatryan, +2300 more
- 17 Dec 2015 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the pseudorapidity distribution of primary charged long-lived hadrons produced in inelastic pp collisions is determined in the central region of the CMS pixel detector (abs(eta)<2) using both hit pairs and reconstructed tracks.
Journal ArticleDOI

Measurement of the W+W- cross section in pp collisions at s=8 TeVand limits on anomalous gauge couplings

Vardan Khachatryan, +2295 more
TL;DR: In this article, a measurement of the W boson pair production cross section in proton-proton collisions at √s = 8 TeV is presented, consistent with the standard model prediction.
Journal ArticleDOI

Limits on the Higgs boson lifetime and width from its decay to four charged leptons

Vardan Khachatryan, +2299 more
- 22 Oct 2015 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the lifetime and width of the Higgs boson were obtained from H to ZZ to 4 lepton events using data recorded by the CMS experiment during the LHC run 1 with an integrated luminosity of 5.1 and 19.7 inverse femtobarns at a center-of-mass energy of 7 and 8 TeV, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI

Searches for third-generation squark production in fully hadronic final states in proton-proton collisions at √s= 8 TeV

Vardan Khachatryan, +2332 more
TL;DR: In this article, three mutually exclusive searches for third-generation squarks in fully hadronic final states are presented using data samples corresponding to integrated luminosities of 19.4 or 19.7 fb^(−1), collected at a centre-of-mass energy of 8 TeV with the CMS detector at the LHC.
Journal ArticleDOI

Observation of Two Excited B-c(+) States and Measurement of the B-c(+) (2S) Mass in pp Collisions at root s=13 TeV

Albert M. Sirunyan, +2290 more
TL;DR: Signals consistent with the B-c(+)(2S) and Bc*(+)/2S states are observed in proton-proton collisions at root s = 13 TeV, in an event sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 143 fb(-1), collected by the CMS experiment during the 2015-2018 LHC running periods as mentioned in this paper.
