TL;DR: In this paper, a fractional residual power series method (FRPS) was applied to solving a class of fractional stiff systems. And the results showed that the proposed method is analytically effective and convenient, and it can be implemented in a large number of engineering problems.
Abstract: A powerful analytical approach, namely the fractional residual power series method (FRPS), is applied successfully in this work to solving a class of fractional stiff systems. The methodology of the FRPS method gets a Maclaurin expansion of the solution in rapidly convergent form and apparent sequences based on the Caputo sense without any restriction hypothesis. This approach is tested on a fractional stiff system with nonlinearity ranging. Meanwhile, stability and convergence study are presented in the domain of interest. Illustrative examples justify that the proposed method is analytically effective and convenient, and it can be implemented in a large number of engineering problems. A numerical comparison for the experimental data with another well-known method, the reproducing kernel method, is given. The graphical consequences illuminate the simplicity and reliability of the FRPS method in the determination of the RPS solutions consistently.

TL;DR: The recurrent pulmonary infections and hydrocephalus in this large Jordanian family are likely related to ciliary dyskinesia, which appears to follow an autosomal recessive mode of inheritance.
Abstract: Objective To describe the presentation and genetic transmission of ciliary dyskinesia syndrome associated with hydrocephalus and mental retardation in 3 generations of a family Patients and Methods A large Jordanian family included 9 individuals in 3 generations with recurrent pulmonary infections; 4 male siblings have been diagnosed as having mental retardation, and a maternal uncle was believed to have been similarly affected Chromosome analysis of the family showed a normal karyotype Results Electron microscopy of the nasal cilia from 3 affected siblings showed features of primary ciliary dyskinesia Computed tomographic scans of the brains of all 4 affected siblings showed hydrocephalus Conclusions The recurrent pulmonary infections and hydrocephalus in this large Jordanian family are likely related to ciliary dyskinesia, which appears to follow an autosomal recessive mode of inheritance The unusual presentation of ciliary dyskinesia, hydrocephalus, and mental retardation may be due to a new genetic mutation

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a theoretical model identifying the extent to which performing leadership development and its enablers in terms of developing training programs, possessing social capital skills, possessing human capital skills and setting goals, and deploying unique experiences enable knowledge management capability put into effect in the Jordanian public shareholding firms, and its impact on firm performance.
Abstract: Since Knowledge Management (KM) is increasingly becoming an integral business function for lots of firms, as the latter recognize that competitiveness depends upon the effective management of intellectual resources, this paper aims to propose a theoretical model identifying the extent to which performing leadership development and its enablers in terms of developing training programs, possessing social capital skills, possessing human capital skills, settings goals, and deploying unique experiences; that are believed to enable knowledge management capability put into effect in the Jordanian public shareholding firms, and its impact on firm performance.
