TL;DR: In this article, the authors explored mainly the power optimization/leakage of the circuit and its improvement, and showed that 40% of total power wasted in the form of leakage may increase by the process of transistor scaling, which is used to increase the density of the transistors for the manufacturing of any chip.
Abstract: The primary goal of developing low power consumption device in this modern era is a real test for every VLSI designer. By the process of control scattering, we can minimize the amount of power consumption and area occupying in the VLSI (Very large-Scale Integration) Chip [1]. Control administration procedures, logical methods are configured for low power circuits and their frameworks. Reducing the amount of power consumption, Leakage power in battery-powered and portable devices in VLSI systems has become an important aspect. The reduction of power consumption in any circuit depends on the amount of leakage of transistors. Insights demonstrate that 40% of total power wasted in the form of leakage. This percentage may increase by the process of transistor scaling. Transistor scaling is a method that is used to increase the density of the transistors for the manufacturing of any chip. This paper explores mainly the power-optimization/Leakage of the circuit and its improvement. To minimize the amount of power dissipation and leakage power, the designer should draw attention to the techniques involved. Simulation results has been observed in the SPICE-tool of 35nm Technology.

TL;DR: In this paper, a meta-heuristic optimization algorithmic rule (WOA) was used to find the optimum set of features or options to reduce the size of the feature into six features that play the main role in the chosen dataset named the Eclipsedata1.
Abstract: This paper utilizes Whale Optimization Algorithmic rule (WOA), a meta-heuristic optimization algorithmic rule (nature-inspired one), to go looking for the optimum set of features or options. Feature selection techniques are crucial to understand data better, remove redundant features and also lead to increased efficiency and accuracy. Hellinger Distance (HD) function has been used for feature scaling and in Whale Optimization Algorithm RUSBoost has been used as the classifier. This algorithm reduces the size of the feature into 6 features that play the main role in the chosen dataset named the Eclipsedata1. To know how the algorithm is performing, XGBoost model has been trained using the features selected with the help of WOA. The accuracy achieved is 85.49%.

TL;DR: It is explored in this work to assess the interference levels in such environments and propose a solution to access licensed bands in opportunistic manner.
Abstract: When wireless communication technologies are used in industrial networking, interference to these wireless devices is a major problem. This problem is more in ISM bands. Using licensed bands for industrial sensors and controllers by way of opportunistic spectrum access is being explored in the recent times. But searching by these wireless devices for the available vacant spectrum is a hectic task as many of these devices are very small and operate with limited computing powers. Hence in these kinds of environments it would be better if spectrum sensing task is carried out by more capable devices like access points and share it to all the surrounding tiny wireless devices. It will be more appropriate if the available vacant spectrum details can be obtained from a server like resource. It can alleviate the sensors from carrying out such hectic spectrum sensing activity. It is explored in this work to assess the interference levels in such environments and propose a solution to access licensed bands in opportunistic manner.
