Sustainable treatment of sewage sludge via plasma-electrolytic liquefaction for bio-friendly production of polyurethane foam.

TL;DR: In this paper , an efficient and sustainable treatment of sewage sludge was achieved using plasma-electrolytic liquefaction (PEL) with alkaline catalysts including sodium hydroxide (NaOH), sodium carbonate (Na2CO3), and sodium acetate(NaAc) and renewable solvents including polyethylene glycol (PEG) 200 and glycerol.

Conversión hidrotérmica subcrítica de residuos Conversión hidrotérmica subcrítica de residuos orgánicos y biomasa. Mecanismos de reacción orgánicos y biomasa. Mecanismos de reacción Subcritical hydrothermal conversion of organic wastes and biomass. Reaction pathways

TL;DR: The main component of biomass (depolymerisation by hydrolysis) is presented in hydrothermal cellulose conversion, producing oligosaccharides which exhibit dehydration and retro-aldol condensation reactions for transforming into furfurals and carboxylic acids as discussed by the authors.

Resíduos agroindustriais para enriquecimento de fertilizante orgânico

TL;DR: Palavras Chave as mentioned in this paper evaluated the quality of the organic compost produced by sugar cane straw composting added with urea and pyroligneous extract, which was obtained after smoke condensation formed by wood burning for charcoal production.
DissertationDOI

Assessing a hydrothermal liquefaction process using biomass feedstocks

TL;DR: In this article , the authors conducted liquidation experiments on dairy manure collected from the Louisiana State University Dairy Farm in Baton Rouge, using various temperatures (250-350°C) and catalysts (Na2CO3, NaOH, and K2Co3) to determine optimum operating conditions for these two parameters.
