Site of vulnerability on SARS-CoV-2 spike induces broadly protective antibody against antigenically distinct Omicron subvariants

TL;DR: S728-1157, a broadly neutralizing antibody targeting the receptor-binding site (RBS) was derived from an individual previously infected with WT SARS-CoV-2 prior to the spread of variants of concern (VOCs) as discussed by the authors .

SARS-CoV-2-specific T cell immunity in cases of COVID-19 and SARS, and uninfected controls.

TL;DR: Infection with betacoronaviruses induces multi-specific and long-lasting T cell immunity against the structural N protein, and SARS-CoV-2-reactive T cells were found in individuals who had recovered from SARS or COVID-19 and in unexposed donors, although with different patterns of immunoreactivity.
