TLDR
In this article, the authors present extensive forecasts for constraints on the dark energy equation of state and parameterized deviations from General Relativity, achievable with Stage III and Stage IV experimental programs that incorporate supernovae, BAO, weak lensing, and cosmic microwave background data.

Unveiling the Intrinsic Alignment of Galaxies with Self-Calibration and DECaLS DR3 data

TL;DR: In this paper, the self-calibration (SC) method was applied to the DECaLS DR3 shear + photo-z catalog and significantly improved the IA detection.
Journal ArticleDOI

Image simulations for gravitational lensing with SKYLENS

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present the latest version of the ray-tracing simulation code SKYLENS, which can be used to develop image simulations that reproduce strong lensing observations by any mass distribution with a high level of realism.
Journal ArticleDOI

Wavelet reconstruction of E and B modes for CMB polarisation and cosmic shear analyses

TL;DR: In this article, the curl-free and divergence-free components of spin 2 signals using spin directional wavelets are mapped to wavelet space using scale-and orientation-dependent masking and weighting schemes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Model-independent constraints on cosmic curvature: implication from the future space gravitational-wave antenna DECIGO

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a method to estimate the cosmological curvature from cosmology probes like standard candles, which can be implemented with future generation of space-based DECi-hertz Interferometer Gravitational-wave Observatory (DECIGO), in combination with cosmic chronometers providing cosmology-independent H(z) data.
Journal ArticleDOI

Precision cosmology with time delay lenses: high resolution imaging requirements

TL;DR: In this paper, a systematic exploration of the high-resolution imaging required to exploit the thousands of lensed quasars that will be discovered by current and upcoming surveys with the next decade is carried out.

The relationship between infrared, optical, and ultraviolet extinction

TL;DR: In this article, the average extinction law over the 3.5 micron to 0.125 wavelength range was derived for both diffuse and dense regions of the interstellar medium. And the validity of the law over a large wavelength interval suggests that the processes which modify the sizes and compositions of grains are stochastic in nature.
