TLDR
In this article, the authors present extensive forecasts for constraints on the dark energy equation of state and parameterized deviations from General Relativity, achievable with Stage III and Stage IV experimental programs that incorporate supernovae, BAO, weak lensing, and cosmic microwave background data.

Observational constraints on cosmological models with Chaplygin gas and quadratic equation of state

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors compare the ΛCDM, the models with generalized and modified Chaplygin gas, and the model with quadratic equation of state with different approaches to calculate the sound horizon scale rs(zd).
Journal ArticleDOI

A parallax distance to 3C 273 through spectroastrometry and reverberation mapping

TL;DR: In this paper, a joint analysis of spectroastrometry and reverberation mapping observations independently measures the distance to the active galaxy nucleus 3C 273 and the value of the Hubble constant.
Journal ArticleDOI

Probing $f(R)$ cosmology with sterile neutrinos via measurements of scale-dependent growth rate of structure

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors constrain the dimensionless Compton wavelength parameter B0 of f(R) gravity as well as the mass of sterile neutrino by using the cosmic microwave background observations, the baryon acoustic oscillation surveys, and the linear growth rate measurements.

Observational constraints on cosmological models with Chaplygin gas and quadratic equation of state

TL;DR: In this article, the authors compare three cosmological models: the Lambda$CDM, the models with generalized and modified Chaplygin gas and the model with quadratic equation of state.
Journal ArticleDOI

Post-Newtonian approximation of teleparallel gravity coupled with a scalar field

TL;DR: In this article, a weak field approximation of teleparallel gravity non-minimally coupling to a scalar field ϕ, with arbitrary coupling function ω ( ϕ ) and potential V (ϕ ) was explored.

The relationship between infrared, optical, and ultraviolet extinction

TL;DR: In this article, the average extinction law over the 3.5 micron to 0.125 wavelength range was derived for both diffuse and dense regions of the interstellar medium. And the validity of the law over a large wavelength interval suggests that the processes which modify the sizes and compositions of grains are stochastic in nature.
