TLDR
In this article, the authors present extensive forecasts for constraints on the dark energy equation of state and parameterized deviations from General Relativity, achievable with Stage III and Stage IV experimental programs that incorporate supernovae, BAO, weak lensing, and cosmic microwave background data.

Neutron Star Mergers and How to Study Them

TL;DR: Neutron star mergers are the canonical multimessenger events: they have been observed through photons for half a century, gravitational waves since 2017, and are likely to be sources of neutrinos and cosmic rays as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Physical constraints on interacting dark energy models

TL;DR: In this article, physical limits on the equation-of-state (EoS) parameter of a dark energy component non-minimally coupled with the dark matter field are examined in light of the second law of thermodynamics and the positiveness of entropy.

Study on the mapping of dark matter clustering from real space to redshift space

TL;DR: In this article, the uncertainty caused by the velocity randomness is controlled by splitting the Gaussian FoG term into two pieces, the one-point term being independent of the separation vector between two different points, and the correlated term appearing as an indefinite polynomial which is expanded in the same order as all other perturbative polynomials, and using 100 realizations of simulations, the new mapping formulation accurately reproduces the observed 2-dimensional density power spectrum in redshift space at the smallest scales by far.

Primordial Gravitational Waves from Galaxy Intrinsic Alignments

TL;DR: In this paper, parity-breaking gravitational waves produced during inflation leave a distinctive imprint in the galaxy shape power spectrum which is not hampered by any scalar-induced tidal field, and the authors estimate the possibility of observing such imprints in future galaxy surveys.

The relationship between infrared, optical, and ultraviolet extinction

TL;DR: In this article, the average extinction law over the 3.5 micron to 0.125 wavelength range was derived for both diffuse and dense regions of the interstellar medium. And the validity of the law over a large wavelength interval suggests that the processes which modify the sizes and compositions of grains are stochastic in nature.
