TLDR
In this article, the authors present extensive forecasts for constraints on the dark energy equation of state and parameterized deviations from General Relativity, achievable with Stage III and Stage IV experimental programs that incorporate supernovae, BAO, weak lensing, and cosmic microwave background data.

Thirty Meter Telescope Detailed Science Case: 2015

Warren Skidmore, +142 more
TL;DR: The TMT Detailed Science Case describes the transformational science that the Thirty Meter Telescope (TMT) will enable as mentioned in this paper, and more than 150 astronomers from within the TMT partnership and beyond offered input in compiling the new 2015 detailed science case, including the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), the Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIA), the National Astronomical Observatories of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (NAOC), the NaOJ, the University of California, the Association of Canadian Universities for Research in Astronomy (ACURA) and US associate partner, AU

Strong lens time delay challenge. ii. results of tdc1

TL;DR: The first strong lens time delay challenge was held in 2013 as discussed by the authors, where seven teams participated, submitting results from 78 different method variants, with some of the methods already reaching sub-percent accuracy.

Time-Sliced Perturbation Theory II: Baryon Acoustic Oscillations and Infrared Resummation

TL;DR: In this article, the authors use time-sliced perturbation theory (TSPT) to give an accurate description of the infrared non-linear effects affecting the baryonic acoustic oscillations (BAO) present in the distribution of matter at very large scales.

Time delay cosmography

TL;DR: Gravitational time delays, observed in strong lens systems where the variable background source is multiply imaged by a massive galaxy in the foreground, provide direct measurements of cosmological distance that are very complementary to other cosmographic probes as mentioned in this paper.

The relationship between infrared, optical, and ultraviolet extinction

TL;DR: In this article, the average extinction law over the 3.5 micron to 0.125 wavelength range was derived for both diffuse and dense regions of the interstellar medium. And the validity of the law over a large wavelength interval suggests that the processes which modify the sizes and compositions of grains are stochastic in nature.
