TLDR
In this article, the authors present extensive forecasts for constraints on the dark energy equation of state and parameterized deviations from General Relativity, achievable with Stage III and Stage IV experimental programs that incorporate supernovae, BAO, weak lensing, and cosmic microwave background data.

Cosmology in Poincare gauge gravity with a pseudoscalar torsion

TL;DR: In this article, a cosmology of Poincare gauge theory is developed, where several properties of universe corresponding to the cosmological equations with the pseudoscalar torsion function are investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Baryonic Effects in Cosmic Shear Tomography: PCA Parameterization and the Importance of Extreme Baryonic Models

TL;DR: In this paper, Eifler et al. proposed a reduction technique for baryonic effects by conducting a principal component analysis (PCA) and removing the largest eigenmodes from the data.
Journal ArticleDOI

The Alcock Paczynski test with Baryon Acoustic Oscillations: systematic effects for future surveys

TL;DR: In this article, the Alcock Paczynski (AP) test applied to the Baryon Acoustic Oscillation (BAO) feature in the galaxy correlation function was investigated, and the importance of the linear redshift space distortions and gravitational lensing corrections to the galaxy number density fluctuation was quantified.

Exploring redshift-space distortions in large-scale structure

TL;DR: In this paper, a closed-form solution to the Zeldovich power spectrum in redshift space and a framework for exploring convergence properties of different expansion approaches is presented. But the results are restricted to the Gaussian streaming model up to 1-loop order and do not hold beyond perturbation theory, and could be used with ingredients measured from N-body simulations.

Fundamental cosmology in the E-ELT era: The status and future role of tests of fundamental coupling stability

TL;DR: In this article, the authors highlight recent efforts along these lines, mostly focusing on ongoing work by CAUP's Dark Side Team aiming to develop some of the science case and optimize observational strategies for forthcoming facilities.

The relationship between infrared, optical, and ultraviolet extinction

TL;DR: In this article, the average extinction law over the 3.5 micron to 0.125 wavelength range was derived for both diffuse and dense regions of the interstellar medium. And the validity of the law over a large wavelength interval suggests that the processes which modify the sizes and compositions of grains are stochastic in nature.
