TLDR
In this article, the authors present extensive forecasts for constraints on the dark energy equation of state and parameterized deviations from General Relativity, achievable with Stage III and Stage IV experimental programs that incorporate supernovae, BAO, weak lensing, and cosmic microwave background data.

Large-scale inhomogeneity of dark energy produced in the ancestor vacuum

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigate large-scale inhomogeneity of dark energy in the bubble nucleation scenario of the universe and calculate imprints of the scenario on the CMB anisotropies through the integrated Sachs-Wolfe (ISW) effect, and give observational constraints on the curvature parameter.
Journal ArticleDOI

On the recovery of ISW fluctuations using large-scale structure tracers and CMB temperature and polarization anisotropies

TL;DR: The authors acknowledge partial financial support from the Spanish Ministerio de Economia y Competitividad Project AYA2012-39475-C02-01 and Consolider-Ingenio 2010 CSD2010-00064.
Journal ArticleDOI

Beyond the Yamamoto approximation: Anisotropic power spectra and correlation functions with pairwise lines of sight

TL;DR: In this article, the authors presented a fast Fourier transform (FFT) algorithm for computing the power spectrum and 2PCF multipoles using pairwise lines of sight, adopting either the galaxy midpoint or angle bisector definitions.

Kriging interpolating cosmic velocity field. II. Taking anistropies and multistreaming into account

TL;DR: Yu et al. as mentioned in this paper investigated two physically motivated extensions of Kriging for velocity assignment: the first takes into account the anisotropic velocity correlations and the second introduces the nugget effect, on account of multi-streaming of the velocity field.
Journal ArticleDOI

Simulations of cm-wavelength Sunyaev-Zel'dovich galaxy cluster and point source blind sky surveys and predictions for the RT32/OCRA-f and the Hevelius 100-m radio telescope

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigate the effectiveness of blind surveys for radio sources and galaxy cluster thermal SunyaevZelovich effects (TSZEs) using the four-pair, beam-swit ched OCRA-f radiometer on the 32-m radio telescope in Poland.

The relationship between infrared, optical, and ultraviolet extinction

TL;DR: In this article, the average extinction law over the 3.5 micron to 0.125 wavelength range was derived for both diffuse and dense regions of the interstellar medium. And the validity of the law over a large wavelength interval suggests that the processes which modify the sizes and compositions of grains are stochastic in nature.
