TLDR
In this article, the authors present extensive forecasts for constraints on the dark energy equation of state and parameterized deviations from General Relativity, achievable with Stage III and Stage IV experimental programs that incorporate supernovae, BAO, weak lensing, and cosmic microwave background data.

Cosmological constraints from a joint analysis of cosmic growth and expansion

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors collected the most recent cosmic growth and expansion rate datasets to provide the state-of-the-art observational constraints on this diagram and performed a joint statistical analysis of both probes, confirming a mild tension between cosmic microwave background predictions from Planck mission and cosmic growth measurements at low redshift.
Journal ArticleDOI

Direct Probe of Dark Energy through Gravitational Lensing Effect

TL;DR: In this article, the authors derived the dark energy contribution to gravitational potential as a repulsive power-law term, containing a generic equation of state parameter w. They showed that it generates w-dependent and position-dependent modification to the conventional light orbital equation of w=−1.

Angpow: a software for the fast computation of accurate tomographic power spectra

TL;DR: The Angpow software aims at computing quickly and accurately the auto and cross angular power spectra between redshift bins, based on developments on the Chebyshev polynomial basis and on the Clenshaw-Curtis quadrature method.

Imaging systematics and clustering of DESI main targets

TL;DR: In this article, the authors evaluate the impact of imaging systematics on the clustering of luminous red galaxies (LRG), emission-line galaxies (ELG), and quasars (QSO) targeted for the upcoming Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI) survey.

Cosmological analysis of three-dimensional BOSS galaxy clustering and Planck CMB lensing cross correlations via Lagrangian perturbation theory

TL;DR: In this paper , a formalism for jointly fitting pre-and post-reconstruction redshift space clustering (RSD) and baryon acoustic oscillations (BAO) plus gravitational lensing (of the CMB) that works directly with the observed 2-point statistics is presented.

The relationship between infrared, optical, and ultraviolet extinction

TL;DR: In this article, the average extinction law over the 3.5 micron to 0.125 wavelength range was derived for both diffuse and dense regions of the interstellar medium. And the validity of the law over a large wavelength interval suggests that the processes which modify the sizes and compositions of grains are stochastic in nature.
