TLDR
In this article, the authors present extensive forecasts for constraints on the dark energy equation of state and parameterized deviations from General Relativity, achievable with Stage III and Stage IV experimental programs that incorporate supernovae, BAO, weak lensing, and cosmic microwave background data.

Cosmological implications of different baryon acoustic oscillation data

TL;DR: In this paper, the cosmological implications of different baryon acoustic oscillation (BAO) data, including the BAO data extracted by using the spherically averaged one-dimensional galaxy clustering (GC) statistics (hereafter BAO1) and the data obtained by using anisotropic two-dimensional GC statistics, were explored.

Axially magnetized Dark Energy cosmological model

TL;DR: In this paper, the behavior of the skewness parameters for an anisotropic universe in the framework of General Relativity was investigated and non-interacting dark energy was considered in presence of electromagnetic f...

Effects of self-calibration of intrinsic alignment on cosmological parameter constraints from future cosmic shear surveys

TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of the IA self-calibration (SC) mitigation method on the precision and accuracy of cosmological parameter constraints from future cosmic shear surveys LSST, WFIRST and Euclid are investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

A parallax distance to 3C 273 through spectroastrometry and reverberation mapping.

TL;DR: In this article, a joint analysis of spectroastrometry and reverberation mapping of active galactic nuclei (AGNs) was performed to measure AGN distances, and an angular distance of $551.5-78.7 + 97.3 was obtained.
Journal ArticleDOI

A simple analytic treatment of linear growth of structure with baryon acoustic oscillations

TL;DR: In this article, a framework for analytically solving all scales, in particular the intermediate scales relevant for the baryon acoustic oscillations (BAO), was presented, in which the Green's function and transfer function were solved using spherically-averaged overdensities and the approximation that the density of the coupled Baryon-photon fluid is constant interior to the sound horizon.

The relationship between infrared, optical, and ultraviolet extinction

TL;DR: In this article, the average extinction law over the 3.5 micron to 0.125 wavelength range was derived for both diffuse and dense regions of the interstellar medium. And the validity of the law over a large wavelength interval suggests that the processes which modify the sizes and compositions of grains are stochastic in nature.
