TLDR
In this article, the authors present extensive forecasts for constraints on the dark energy equation of state and parameterized deviations from General Relativity, achievable with Stage III and Stage IV experimental programs that incorporate supernovae, BAO, weak lensing, and cosmic microwave background data.

The trace of the trace of the energy–momentum tensor-dependent Einstein’s field equations

Abstract: The f(R, T) gravity field equations depend generically on both the Ricci scalar R and trace of the energy–momentum tensor T. Within the assumption of perfect fluids, the theory carries an arbitrariness regarding the choice of the matter lagrangian density $${\mathcal {L}}$$ , not uniquely defined. Such an arbitrariness can be evaded by working with the trace of the theory field equations. From such an equation, one can obtain a form for $${\mathcal {L}}$$ , which does not carry the arbitrariness. The obtained form for $${\mathcal {L}}$$ shows that the f(R, T) gravity is unimodular. A new version of the theory is, therefore, presented and forthcoming applications are expected.

The Redshift Dependence of the Alcock–Paczynski Effect: Cosmological Constraints from the Current and Next Generation Observations

TL;DR: The tomographic Alcock-Paczynski (AP) test is a robust large-scale structure (LSS) measurement that receives little contamination from the redshift space distortion as discussed by the authors.

Hubble Constant from LSST Strong lens time delays with microlensing systematics

TL;DR: In this article, the microlensing effect on the uncertainty of the LSST-based time-delay estimator has been studied, assuming the micro-lensing time delays can be well estimated.

Multiple Measurements of Gravitational Waves Acting as Standard Probes: Model-independent Constraints on the Cosmic Curvature with DECIGO

TL;DR: In this article , the authors investigate how such an idea could be implemented with the future generation of the space-based Decihertz Interferometer Gravitational-wave Observatory (DECIGO) in the framework of two model-independent methods.

The relationship between infrared, optical, and ultraviolet extinction

TL;DR: In this article, the average extinction law over the 3.5 micron to 0.125 wavelength range was derived for both diffuse and dense regions of the interstellar medium. And the validity of the law over a large wavelength interval suggests that the processes which modify the sizes and compositions of grains are stochastic in nature.
