TLDR
In this article, the authors present extensive forecasts for constraints on the dark energy equation of state and parameterized deviations from General Relativity, achievable with Stage III and Stage IV experimental programs that incorporate supernovae, BAO, weak lensing, and cosmic microwave background data.

Cosmic Shear with Einstein Rings

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors explore a new technique to measure cosmic shear using Einstein rings and find that the number density of Einstein rings in the COSMOS survey is representative, and that future strong lensing surveys should have a cosmological precision comparable to the current ground-based weak lensesing surveys.
Journal ArticleDOI

Interacting Tsallis holographic dark energy: Cosmic behaviour, statefinder analysis and ωD − ω' D pair in the non- flat universe

TL;DR: In this article, the interacting Tsallis holographic dark energy (THDE) model in a non-flat universe following an infrared cutoff as the apparent horizon is explored and the cosmological evolution for interacting THDE model in the nonflat universe is analyzed.

Cosmological constraints on the gas depletion factor in galaxy clusters

TL;DR: In this paper, self-consistent observational constraints on the gas depletion factor were obtained by combining 40 X-ray emitting gas mass fraction measurements and luminosity distance measurements from type Ia supernovae.

Precision Tests of CO and [CII] Power Spectra Models against Simulated Intensity Maps

TL;DR: In this article, an extended halo model for the power spectrum of intensity fluctuations of CO rotational lines and [CII] fine transition line in real space is introduced, modeling nonlinearities in matter fluctuations and biasing relation between the line intensity fluctuations and the underlying dark matter distribution.

ADDGALS: Simulated Sky Catalogs for Wide Field Galaxy Surveys

TL;DR: DeRose et al. as mentioned in this paper presented a method for creating simulated galaxy catalogs with realistic galaxy luminosities, broad-band colors, and projected clustering over large cosmic volumes, denoted ADDGALS (Adding Density Dependent GAlaxies to Lightcone Simulations).

The relationship between infrared, optical, and ultraviolet extinction

TL;DR: In this article, the average extinction law over the 3.5 micron to 0.125 wavelength range was derived for both diffuse and dense regions of the interstellar medium. And the validity of the law over a large wavelength interval suggests that the processes which modify the sizes and compositions of grains are stochastic in nature.
