TLDR
In this article, the authors present extensive forecasts for constraints on the dark energy equation of state and parameterized deviations from General Relativity, achievable with Stage III and Stage IV experimental programs that incorporate supernovae, BAO, weak lensing, and cosmic microwave background data.

Non-linear Phenomenology of Disformally Coupled Quintessence

TL;DR: In this article, a new phenomenology induced by adding disformal terms to the interactions of the Quintessence model is discussed, which can be used to test approximate relations between the metric and scalar field perturbations as well as between the fifth force and gravity.

Generalizing the coupling between geometry and matter: $f(R,L_m,T)$ gravity

TL;DR: In this article, the cosmological implications of the theory are investigated for a homogeneous, isotropic and flat universe for two particular choices of the Lagrangian density $f(R,L_m,T) of the gravitational field, with a multiplicative and additive algebraic structure in the matter couplings, respectively, by using both analytical and numerical methods.

Probing cosmology and gastrophysics with fast radio bursts: cross-correlations of dark matter haloes and cosmic dispersion measures

TL;DR: In this paper , a cross-correlation analysis of foreground dark matter halos with their known redshifts is proposed to provide robust cosmological information for future surveys of fast radio bursts (FRBs).

TL;DR: The authors constrain six possible extensions to the cold dark matter (CDM) model using measurements from the Dark Energy Survey's first three years of observations, alone and in combination with external cosmological probes.

Intrinsic alignments of bulges and discs

TL;DR: In this article , the authors investigate how different components of galaxies exhibit IA in the TNG100-1 cosmological hydrodynamical simulation, as well as the dependence of IA on the fraction of stars in rotation-dominated structures at z = 0.

The relationship between infrared, optical, and ultraviolet extinction

TL;DR: In this article, the average extinction law over the 3.5 micron to 0.125 wavelength range was derived for both diffuse and dense regions of the interstellar medium. And the validity of the law over a large wavelength interval suggests that the processes which modify the sizes and compositions of grains are stochastic in nature.
