Gender, Reflected Appraisals, and Labeling: A Cross-Group Test of an Interactionist Theory of Delinquency
TL;DR: In this paper, a cross-gender model of delinquency using data from the National Youth Survey was proposed. But the model was not applied to the gender gap in delinquent behavior, and the results showed that for both males and females, parental labeling and reflected appraisals had a larger effect on delinquency.
