W+W- boson pair production in proton-proton collisions at s =13 TeV

Albert M. Sirunyan, +2386 more
- 01 Sep 2020 -
TL;DR: A measurement of the W+W- boson pair production cross section in proton-proton collisions at root s = 13 TeV is presented in this article, where two methods for reducing background contributions are employed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Improved limit on the branching fraction of the rare decay $K^0_{\scriptscriptstyle S}\to\mu^+\mu^-$

Roel Aaij, +770 more
TL;DR: In this article, a search for the decay of the branching fraction of a proton-proton collision with the LHCb experiment at centre-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV was performed, and the observed yield was consistent with the background-only hypothesis.

Constraints on the pMSSM, AMSB model and on other models from the search for long-lived charged particles in proton–proton collisions at √s = 8 TeV

Vardan Khachatryan, +2127 more
TL;DR: In this article, the long-lived lepton-like sector of the phenomenological minimal supersymmetric standard model (pMSSM) and the anomaly-mediated supersymmetry breaking (AMSB) model were derived from the results presented in a recent search for longlived charged particles in protonproton collisions, based on data collected by the CMS detector at a centre-of-mass energy of 8 TeV at the Large Hadron Collider.
Journal ArticleDOI

Measurement of the production cross section for Z gamma -> nu(nu)over-bar gamma in pp collisions at root s=7 TeV and limits on ZZ gamma and Z gamma gamma triple gauge boson couplings

S. Chatrchyan, +2264 more
TL;DR: In this article, a measurement of the Zγ→ννγ cross section in pp collisions at s√=7 TeV is presented, using data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.0 fb^(−1) collected with the CMS detector.
Journal ArticleDOI

Optical Spectra of Silver Colloids Within the Framework of Fractal Physics

TL;DR: In this paper, an alternate solution to the problem of adequately describing the evolution of optical spectra of any polydisperse silver colloids with particles falling within a range of most characteristic sizes (5 − 30 nm), over which the results of the application of the methods of classical electrodynamics including the Mie theory, disagree with experimental data, was proposed.
