Search for new particles decaying to a jet and an emerging jet

Albert M. Sirunyan, +2353 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors performed a search for events consistent with the pair production of a new heavy particle that acts as a mediator between a dark sector and normal matter, and that decays to a light quark and a new fermion called a dark quark.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for physics beyond the standard model in multilepton final states in proton-proton collisions at √{s } = 13 TeV

Albert M. Sirunyan, +2357 more
TL;DR: In this article, a search for physics beyond the standard model in events with at least three charged leptons (electrons or muons) is presented, where two targeted signal processes are pair production of type-III seesaw heavy fermions and production of a light scalar or pseudoscalar boson in association with a pair of top quarks.
Journal ArticleDOI

Nonlinear optics of metal fractal clusters

TL;DR: In this article, a 106 times enhancement of the DFWM signal has been observed experimentally in silver particles aggregated into clusters, for the first time frequency and polarization-selective photomodification of fractal silver clusters has been realized.
Journal ArticleDOI

Parametric generation and absorption of tunable vacuum-ultraviolet radiation controlled by laser-induced autoionizing-like resonances in the continuum

TL;DR: In this article, the effect of a strong additional laser field on the absorption and parametric generation at the atomic transition between ground state and continuum is analyzed and the possibility of inducing the resonant decrease of absorption and enhancement of the nonlinear susceptibility at arbitrary range of the continuum.
Journal ArticleDOI

Measurement of the W boson helicity fractions in the decays of top quark pairs to lepton + jets final states produced in pp collisions at s=8TeV

Vardan Khachatryan, +2275 more
- 10 Nov 2016 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors have received support from the Marie-Curie pro-gramme and the European Research Council and EPLANET (European Union); the Leventis Foundation; the Alfred P. Sloan Founda-tion; the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, the Belgian Fed-eral Science Policy Office; the Fonds pour la Formation a la Recherche dans l’Industrie et Dans l'Agriculture (FRIA-Belgium); the Agentschap voor Innovatie door Wetens
