Search for the suppressed decays B+ → K+K+π− and B+ → π+π+K−

Roel Aaij, +769 more
- 10 Feb 2017 -
TL;DR: In this paper, a search was made for the highly-suppressed B meson decays B+→K+K+π− and B+ →π+π+K− using a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3.0
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for the CP -violating strong decays η → π + π − and η ′ (958)→ π + π −

Roel Aaij, +785 more
- 10 Jan 2017 -
TL;DR: In this paper, a search for the CP-violating strong decays η→π+π− and η'(958)→π +π− has been performed using approximately 2.5×107 events of each of the decays D+→π+,π+η− and Ds +→π+)+π+−, recorded by the LHCb experiment, which corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 3.0 fb−1 of pp collision data recorded during LHC Run 1.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for supersymmetry in events with photons, bottom quarks, and missing transverse momentum in proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 7 TeV with the ATLAS detector

Georges Aad, +2884 more
- 26 Feb 2013 -
TL;DR: In this article, the experimental signature of an isolated photon with high transverse momentum, at least one jet identified as originating from a bottom quark, and high missing transversal momentum was searched using the full dataset of 7 TeV proton-proton collisions recorded with the ATLAS detector at the LHC.
Journal ArticleDOI

Underlying event characteristics and their dependence on jet size of charged-particle jet events in pp collisions at root(s)=7 TeV with the ATLAS detector

Georges Aad, +2909 more
- 09 Oct 2012 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used the antikt algorithm with radius parameter R varying between 0.2 and 1.0 to reconstruct the trajectories of the charged particle jets at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC).
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for contact interactions in dimuon events from pp collisions at root s=7 TeV with the ATLAS detector

Georges Aad, +3071 more
- 01 Jul 2011 -
TL;DR: In this article, a search for contact interactions was performed using dimuon events recorded with the ATLAS detector in proton-proton collisions at root s = 7 TeV.
