01 Jan 2019TL;DR: A human emotion classification model using ridgelet transformation-based emotion image features and with back propagation artificial neural network to enable rapid learning and thereby computational swiftness reasoning the auspicious facial emotions is proposed.
Abstract: This article proposes a human emotion classification model using ridgelet transformation-based emotion image features and with back propagation artificial neural network. Ridgelet transformation method was applied to face images around the points of interest area. Principal component analysis technique was used for preprocessing phase in feature extraction from emotion-contained images. The proposed model has two important phases that are finely mixed to make the entire system optimal. The first step is to select the image representation that extracts the important features of image using PCA and then apply ridgelet transform to get the fine-tuned features from the obtained eigenfeatures. The second step is a meticulously modified back propagation artificial neural network classifier which includes two parameters such as anxiety and confidence, for selecting a subset of typical conclusive visual topographies from the set of latent structures. The combination of these two procedures enabled rapid learning and thereby computational swiftness reasoning the auspicious facial emotions.

01 Jan 2021TL;DR: In this article, spectroscopic analyses of different types of polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxanes (POSS)-based hybrid polymeric materials are discussed, as well as their well-defined organic-inorganic nanoscaled structure.
Abstract: Polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxanes (POSS) have been considered as fascinated synthetic organic-inorganic precursor materials in the field of advanced materials science owing to their superior physicochemical properties, including high thermal and mechanical, low dielectric and surface properties, low moisture absorption, and high photoluminescence properties. The high-performance properties, as well as their well-defined organic-inorganic nanoscaled structure, contribute to the building of nano-structured polymeric hybrid materials and nanocomposites for a wide range of industrial and engineering applications. In this chapter, spectroscopic analyses of different types of POSS-based hybrid polymeric materials are discussed.
