Abstract
Computer Program Abstracts The category Computer Program Abstracts provides a rapid means of communicating up-to-date information concerning both new programs or systems and significant updates to existing ones. Following normal submission, a Computer Program Abstract will be reviewed by one or two members of the IUCr Commission on Crystallographic Computing. It should not exceed 500 words in length and should follow the standard format given on page 189 of the June 1985 issue of the Journal [J. Appl. CrysL (1985). 18, 189190] and on the World Wide Web at http://www.iucr. ac. uk/journals/jac/software/. The intramolecular aryl embrace: from light emission to light absorption.

TL;DR: Copper(I) complexes in which L is 2,2'-bipyridine substituted in the 6-position by furyl, thienyl, N-methylpyrrolyl, selenopheneyl, methyl or phenyl have been synthesized and the best efficiencies are observed for [CuLL'] with L' = 10 which contains phosphonate anchoring groups.

One-pot synthesis of highly diversified tetrahydropyridines by tandem condensation of aldehydes, amines, and β-ketoesters

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used silica-supported boron trifluoride (BF3·SiO2) as an efficient and reusable catalyst for the synthesis of highly diversified tetrahydropyridines by one-pot multicomponent reactions of amines and aldehydes with β-ketoester.

Rhodamine-Based Dual Chemosensor for Al3+ and Zn2+ Ions with Distinctly Separated Excitation and Emission Wavelengths

TL;DR: In this paper, a rhodamine-based compound, 2-(2-((3-(tert-butyl)-2-hydroxybenzylidene)amino)ethyl),3′-6′-bis(ethylamino)-2′,7′-dimethylspiro[indoline-1,9′-xanthen]-3-one, (HL-t-Bu), is reported as a dual chemosensor for Zn2+ and Al3+ ions.

Stable four-π-electron, four-membered heterocyclic cations and carbenes

TL;DR: The results clearly suggest that the backbone of N-heterocyclic carbenes can be modified at will, without preventing their isolation, and the thermal stability of the carbene is rather surprising.

Toward the Selective Delivery of Chemotherapeutics Into Tumor Cells by Targeting Peptide Transporters: Tailored Gold-Based Anticancer Peptidomimetics

TL;DR: According to in vitro cytotoxicity studies, the Aib-containing complexes 3 and 4 turned out to be the most effective toward all the human tumor cell lines evaluated, and showed no cross-resistance with cisplatin itself and were proved to inhibit tumor cell proliferation by inducing either apoptosis or late apoptosis/necrosis depending on the cell lines.
