Computer Program Abstracts The category Computer Program Abstracts provides a rapid means of communicating up-to-date information concerning both new programs or systems and significant updates to existing ones. Following normal submission, a Computer Program Abstract will be reviewed by one or two members of the IUCr Commission on Crystallographic Computing. It should not exceed 500 words in length and should follow the standard format given on page 189 of the June 1985 issue of the Journal [J. Appl. CrysL (1985). 18, 189190] and on the World Wide Web at http://www.iucr. ac. uk/journals/jac/software/. Dinuclear complexes of chiral tetradentate pyridylimine ligands: diastereoselectivity, positive cooperativity, anion selectivity, ligand self-sorting based on chirality, and magnetism.
TL;DR: The synthesis and coordination chemistry of two chiral tetradentate pyridylimine Schiff base ligands are reported and revealed a strong positive cooperativity in the formation of [Co(2)((S)-3)(2)Cl(2)](2+).

1,4-Shifts in a Dinuclear Ni(I) Biarylyl Complex: A Mechanistic Study of C−H Bond Activation by Monovalent Nickel
TL;DR: NMR spectroscopic evidence suggests that Ni(I) complexes are capable of activating aromatic C-H bonds.

Electrochemical assembling/disassembling of helicates with hysteresis.
Valeria Amendola,Luigi Fabbrizzi,Luca Gianelli,Cristina Maggi,Carlo Mangano,Piersandro Pallavicini,Michele Zema +6 more
TL;DR: CV profiles show that solutions containing copper and L undergo hysteresis on changing the applied electrochemical potential, and the spectral properties of the Cu(I) and Cu(II) complexes of the considered ligands make these systems good candidates for storing information in solution, which can be electrochemically written or erased and spectroscopically read.

TL;DR: The preliminary investigation on the mechanism of cytotoxicity of SeChry and SePQue in MCF-7 human mammary cancer cells demonstrated their capacity to efficiently suppress the clonal expansion along with their ability to hamper TrxR activity leading to apoptotic cell death.

Di-, tri-, and tetranuclear nickel(II) complexes with oximato bridges: magnetism and catecholase-like activity of two tetranuclear complexes possessing rhombic topology.
TL;DR: Magnetic susceptibility measurements indicated that dinuclear 1 and trinuclear 2 exhibited diamagnetic behavior, while tetranuclear complexes 3 and 4 were found to have dominant antiferromagnetic intramolecular coupling with concomitant ferromagnetic interactions.
