Abstract
Computer Program Abstracts The category Computer Program Abstracts provides a rapid means of communicating up-to-date information concerning both new programs or systems and significant updates to existing ones. Following normal submission, a Computer Program Abstract will be reviewed by one or two members of the IUCr Commission on Crystallographic Computing. It should not exceed 500 words in length and should follow the standard format given on page 189 of the June 1985 issue of the Journal [J. Appl. CrysL (1985). 18, 189190] and on the World Wide Web at http://www.iucr. ac. uk/journals/jac/software/. A Dinuclear Copper(II) Complex with Adeninate Bridge Ligands and Prominent DNA Cleavage Activity. Structural and Spectroscopic Characterization and Magnetic Properties

TL;DR: A new dinuclear copper(II) complex has been synthesized and structurally characterized and efficiently cleaves the pUC18 plasmid in the presence of reducing agents.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis, structure, electrochemistry, photophysics and electroluminescence of 1,3,4-oxadiazole-based ortho -metalated iridium(III) complexes

TL;DR: In this paper, four new iridium(III) complexes 1-4, with 1,3,4-oxadiazole derivative as cyclometalated ligand for the first time, have been synthesized and structurally characterized by NMR, EA, MS and X-ray diffraction analysis.
Journal ArticleDOI

Correlated theoretical, spectroscopic and X-ray crystallographic studies of a non-covalent molecularly imprinted polymerisation system.

TL;DR: The role of a cross-linker appears to be more significant for this system than previously anticipated and an effective imprint is achieved, despite the presence of only one site on the template which provides for the formation of effective electrostatic interactions with the functional monomer used, 4-vinylpyridine.

Bimetallic catalysis involving dipalladium(I) and diruthenium(I) complexes.

TL;DR: The mechanism for aldehyde olefination with ethyl diazoacetate and PPh(3), catalyzed by 2, has been fully elucidated and it is demonstrated that 2 catalyzes the formation of phosphorane utilizing EDA and P Ph, which subsequently reacts with alde Hyde to produce a new olefin and phosphine oxide.
Journal ArticleDOI

Copper(II) cyclam-based complexes for radiopharmaceutical applications: synthesis and structural analysis

TL;DR: In this paper, the Jahn-Teller distortion was found to occur either along the axis of the pendant acetate arms or across the macrocyclic ring of the copper(II) complex.
